From testing with Narsrim, I think the administration has done a fairly positive thing. Nexus Guardians are useful for people who truly lack a lick of combat prowess and/or desire to learn combat, but they are fairly worthless and expensive when compared to a real combatant (just like they should be!). We’re both really quite impressed at the level of compromise this sort of thing achieves. I also think they would be useful in some situational instances for everyone such as scouting out an enemy demesne to find break points, etc. Likewise, it’s fairly impossible to die as a guardian if you have any inkling of sense.
On the other hand, I think the transcendent Planar skill is such rubbish. It’s either going to flux between being too powerful or too expensive to be worthwhile as a balancing mechanic. Can we please get something else? What about the ability to bond to an aetherbubble and open a portal to and from it that costs 15-25% of your energy reserves and fades in 60 seconds? I would much prefer handy transportation over the mess that is going to start when someone drops an immortal gate from say Magnagora to Ethereal Serenwilde.

I'm happier with the damage now, thanks! (700ish, won't kill anyone by itself, but it's now a webber / damage source that can't be easily killed, so it would give, say, Lendren something to do in a raid situation)
Well, I don't think even remote-controlling a guardian-bot is going to mitigate the effects of mega-lag; the bot would just get killed while I was lagging out, before I even saw it had found its target. But really there's nothing the admin can do about my connection problems, nor should they. And zapping may be pretty ineffective but it at least means I can do something. But it's nice you're thinking of me!
What I hope nexus guardians turn out to be, whether now or after more tweaks, is a way for people who feel frustrated by the "I need ten thousand triggers and a degree in tactics just to survive ten seconds" problem (the incredibly high cost of entry in Lusternia combat) but want to do something. By working a bot, they only have to deal with a far smaller number of things before they can become useful, and thus be encouraged, and thus maybe get the motivation to try to take on that monumental task of becoming useful at real combat.

I used to be able to actually fight rather well on my tier. Then I left the Celestines.

Not sure about this new skill, but I thought it was going to be a teleport nexus on any plane. There would be extra power costs and waiting, but that's what I thought it would resemble.

That was one of the ideas, but not the one picked.

There is some sarcasm and 'wtf' involved in this, but I will try to keep it as serious as possible for constructive purposes.
I agree insanity helps deter long raids.. but faethorn should not have this effect, why not ur'dead doing it to? Fae have a quest in EVERY org, and with both communes on one side its not hard to be enemied to both in a WAR. Most of these get high points, the faethorn part gets a 0/10
Good for conglute. GateMaster is a piece of I prefer teleport to any nexus level, or from anywhere where the nexus is on the plane, Nil I wouldnt mind teleport to aetherbubbles for insane power costs. This idea was just stupidly useless, would have been better off to make it reduce the exp loss of conglute (and increase base conglutes loss).
Can killing them take power from the Communes since they get power from even trying to craft them and they are insanely powerful at times? Please? Something equal to slaying demons/angels?
Umm.... sure.. another way to entirely grief and wipe out enemy groups! yay! Now only cubix and cubix type items can save you!
Not a bad plan, we will see how it turns out.
Some one slap whoever came up with those. Most of these sound like they backfire for one... and two.. these quests should not have been altered now you can stop power loss AND drain the other org it looks like from how I see it. Return them to normal, they are bad enough as it is.
New planar trans skill plz

If you've been following the forums, you know we have been discussing
tweaks to the planar conflict systems to help balance out the ability to
raid without becoming allowing it to become a relentless or overwhelming
state. With that in mind, we've implemented the following changes. Keep
in mind these changes are up for review, so we'd be interested in your
input on the forums.
o Insanity on Planes
- If you are an enemy to Celest, you will accrue insanity on
Water/Celestia.
- If you are an enemy to Magnagora, you will accrue insanity on
Earth/Nil.
- If you are an enemy to Serenwilde, you will accrue insanity on
Ethereal Seren.
- If you are an enemy to Glomdoring, you will accrue insanity on
Ethereal Glom.
- If you are an enemy to Serenwilde or Glomdoring, you will accrue
insanity on Faethorn (not cumulative if you are enemied to both).
- If the city/commune constructs that increase insanity on planes will
have a cumulative effect with the above.

Can guardians follow defense leaders or no? Also, anyone happen to have the probe descriptions of each organizational guardian, by any chance?

If you can't see the difference between Shallach and Faethorn, there's not going to be much of a conversation here.
The main issue with Ladies/Daughters taking power is that there are wide open front doors for EtherWilde and EtherGlom. It is unfortunate that the closest counterpart is killing bound fae in the short window that they're there, but it's similarly unfortunate that you can walk right in.

Sarcasm on my part, I see you missed it. Faethorn should be treated as neutral outside full or new moons.

I havent see people have trouble walking to Nil really, distort, oh wait you can distort us from faethorn too! They offer ALOT of power to make since it takes multiple fae, while taking say 2p or 3p when slain and maybe being able to be turned into a DL or supernal would help the discrepency(sp)

But there's a cap on total number of demons and total number of ladies...? And it takes less time and no work to get to your max..? Hrm.
Essentially, there's already plenty of reason to kill Daughters. They're harvested all the time anyways. No need for more incentive.

I don't like the trans planar skill, seems not very useful. Instead, what would have been awesome is the power to jump from any plane your nexus is connected to to any plane your nexus is connected to.

The problem with that is that Communes only have Prime-Ethereal, so that's probably why it wasn't picked.

No. We can Astroglide to Scorpio during wildnodes (and astrologers always can), but that's about the extent of the connection. Also, we tend to need scorpion corpses for events. But there are no Nexus-objects anywhere there for Communes.
