I miss when I had a character that was a somebody. Socially involved, etc. Now it's kind of hard to adapt to being a nobody novice/midbie again. Have to start at the bottom rung of the social ladder and all.

I miss players who knew what Magnagora was about and understood that being at the bottom means you're nothing more than a maggot and must crawl and obey till you are a rat, and then you crawl and obey till you are a mutt...

Now you smack them for disobedience and they're all 'HALP! HALP! I AM BEING REPRESSED!'

I remember my very first character was a wiccan, and I bugged my talisman because I thought it was supposed to be an athame from the beginning. I had no clue about how the specializations worked. I also remember the nexii being at negative power for what seemed like forever...

And of course watching people run around trying to bring Glom back to life. I had much fun laughing at people.

Huh? the crying makes it more fun. They talk up, you smack them, they make some noise, and then you kill them and tell them that yes, they are being repressed and if they, at any point in there currently pointless life wish to have a ounce of power, worth, and intelligence then they will be silent and listen to their elders until one of them takes sympathy on their dirt dragging ass and feeds them the scraps off their plate.
