I voted for combat streamlining, because while the others are more fun or easier to get done, it's the combat issue that is the most detrimental to the game right now.

I voted for the Ascendant changes only because combat streamlining seems like more of an ongoing process to me.

Not everyone agrees that combat streamlining is the most detrimental to the game right now or everyone would vote with you--just goes to show everyone has different priorities or different perspectives! Anyway, believe me, from a coder perspective, the essence shop/extra tradeskills is much, much more difficult than any of the other options--for the simple fact that the entire skill system would need an under the hood revamp which is a pretty scary thought!

But still more fun, potentially!

I voted combat, because I want new people to start playing.
Kiradawea2009-09-16 00:11:42
So hard choice. I'mma gonna jump on the Ascendant train though, because everything that enhances RP is nifty in the long run.

^ That.

I think things are going along quite swimmingly overall, so kudos to the Divine!

Personally, I'd very much like a little bit of attention diverted to rebalancing some of the tradeskills - particularly Artisan, Bookbinder, the non-existent Highmagic only gathering tradeskills that balance herbs/poisons, and perhaps some kind of Monk forging specialization. I realize the Enchantment/Alchemy specializations were recently released, which is wonderful, but both were already very good tradeskills and I'd like to see some of the less-than-good ones have their day as well. smile.gif

If 'streamlining' combat involves de-emphasising the role of group-ganking in favour of more one-to-one contests, especially ones that don't pit you against gods (half-human or otherwise), that sounds pretty good too.

Thank you!

Sometimes we only hear complaints and getting the occasional pat on the back perks up our spirits more than you may imagine!

Can we close the vote now? ninja.gif

Though honestly, for game balance, overhauling damage is the most important. It would just be neat to finally get this other thing done though, it's been on so many polls and consistently ranks high. sad.gif

I think that just shows more that they need to make it harder to get Demigod. superninja.gif

No! It shows that we want change!

Change we can believe in!

YES WE CAN! VOTE FOR ESSENCE SHOPS!

(How's that for a campaign?)

Gogo arghpee upgrades.

MY vote went to the family system. Reasons:

-The lack of ability to gain or when you to gain DO anything with family honour. A god told us it would probably take years and years to get to the position of appointing someone to a ruling council ( which in all honesty is the only worth while thing to do) , and that is without people censor.gif everything up for you (someone leaving the family, someone leaving a city, banner houses rejecting, killing non enemies, losing ranked spars with lesser families).

-The inability to move family members across families. Snaithy had 5 kids and wanted to start his own family. He then has to start from scratch as his kids dont take on his own name, but the name they were brought into originally.

-Perhaps implement more things. One thing I suggested not so long ago was some kind of rites being able to be performed, or other such privileges as a guild leader can gain. Being in charge of a Great House is a pretty big thing, you have a lot of people under your care...yet all you can do is access the family bank account ( which usually rarely gets used in our case).

You'd think that, except after posting it, it got 3 more votes. Heh.

Edit: Make that 4.

You did say what would you like to see, not what do you think is the absolute, most important thing to be worked on at the moment. Trust me, there's a big difference.

Anyway, I choose not to vote, because there is not option of "moar pwnies." sad.gif >.> actually I'm not sure what I'd like to see.
