The envoy updates are now reflected in the skills and afflictions pages.

I think you will be missing an opportunity if you don't include histories and backgrounds in the adveturer pages.

Personally, I would love to see the Notable Adventurers section similar to the Players section on Aetolia's Ankyrean Archives -- albeit, not as crass or flame-worthy (however, the humor from those pages is just too much fun!). Who cares about notoriety, give everyone the chance to feel included!
The humour is drowned out by the filth that people post there, honestly, if anything to do with lusty is ever printed that resembles what is on the site I think the link should be removed from the main Lusternia website. If anything, the profiles shouldn't be able to edited by anyone and should be subject to strict criteria unless an ingame history.

If we do a notable adventurers thing at all it will definitely be very brief blurbs that are objective -- i.e., not written by the people depicted -- and we will come up with some means of ensuring that people aren't able to nominate themselves for the sheer joy of self-aggrandizement. There's enough of that on the forums and in-game already. The moment it stops being some kind of useful reference people would use for purposes other than to check their own listings, that's the moment we'll stop having it.

We now have as many chroniclers as we want to have for the time being. Those of you who inquired and weren't selected, don't take it personally: there were more people than I had slots for, and some people were looking to work on the same parts of the site as others. I'll be keeping your names in mind in case we need more people later.
Everyone else, please feel free to continue posting or privately messaging your corrections, contributions, and suggestions, and we'll be working at filling in the remaining sections as fast as we can while still ensuring everything's as definitive as we can.

it's a shame to see histories and background relegated to legacy code.

Ishant has a stick up his ass.
That's going into the wiki, bucko.
Players -> Ishant -> blah blah blah stick up ass blah blah blah

That's why I suggested that everyone writes their own (in accordance with a pre-decided format). If Ishant does not want people to know where the stick is, he can... not write about it. THE MAGIC OF INCLUSION.

No no, now every player-written profile must complete the sentence "The stick is..."

It would be nice if the Afflictions page indicated which afflictions are considered prone. From Viynain's list I see:
entangled, frozen, roped, shackled, sprawled, transfixed, trussed
Any others?

I have prone (sprawled), entangled, paralysed, stunned, frozen, roped, impaled, and shackled.
Zenon2009-09-30 02:12:55
Does the unconsciousness effect from hunger also count as prone? I thought it did, but I'm not sure about that.

yes, you are actually prone as you have to stand up afterwards
Aerotan2009-09-30 02:47:56
Not neccesarily. Unconciousness leads to sprawled, I thought. But Acrobats may be able to remain standing through it (Hell, if we can stay standing while asleep, why not?) I'll have to find some way to test that, since it's a blackout...

Super! I went and checked my logs and I see that transfixed does not in fact cause proning. I have never been trussed apparently so I couldn't check that. It seems odd that it wouldn't prone.
Zallafar2009-10-01 22:59:46
A number of old posts refer to the affliction "severe head trauma" but the usual afflictions references don't mention it. Has this affliction been removed or renamed?
Lendren2009-10-01 23:01:05
If it can appear in DIAG, it's in the list on the Lusternia Wiki. I'm not sure if it refers to one of the ones listed there, or it's been removed. But every line that's potentially in DIAG is there.
Unknown2009-10-01 23:32:30
It's a strange sort of affliction that you may or may not see, depending on how you cure a concussion. I never did quite figure it out myself.

That honors quest list is incomplete. Malacoda/Bottledowns are missing, and perhaps more I didn't notice right away.

You know, that could possibly be because it's still under development...
Strangely enough, text information (including semi-helpful details about the area, which don't solve the quest but can help give some information) just does not write itself. Technology has not advanced that far, yet.
The full list can be found in-game with the HELP HONOURS QUEST thing. It's my understanding that this is actually intended to be... slightly more helpful than just a raw listing, heh.
