Creepy, yup. Ileein wasn't really fazed, mostly because he's sort of oblivious when it comes to that sort of thing.

This, 100%. Besides, part of why Gaku s Winnae so much is because he's a Tae'dae, and he has a big place in his heart for them because of the friendship between Tae and Bollikin. As well, I think racial RP is very important, and a lot of people have lost sight of theirs. Don't give up, Winnae!

I don't know much about the "new" Incabulos, but I do know that I thought it quite amusing when he gave a bouquet of flowers to Ongaku and declared them married. Too bad he's a dirty Halli, or Gaku would've been all over him like a cheap suit.

Though not familiar with the old one, I'm a big fan. Keep it up! The mandala is a nice accessory and you seem to use it well, from what I've briefly seen. I wish a few more people played some variation on the hard-line breed of Hallifaxian. Doing it in a vacuum, while other people frolic around affectionately, feels like a waste of a character on an emotionally barren concept that's therefore hard to enjoy.

Llesvelt started out a New Celest Trill, Cantor to be exact. I did not have much planned for him, originally, other than to explore the mindset of a devout yet not at all fanatic artist who found inspiration in his faith in Holy Celestia and its ways. Shortly after I joined the game with Llesvelt, Hallifax was first opened, proper, by Cririk Adom. I remember vaguely someone getting thrown out of New Celest for some remark that Llesvelt found to be wise, and then him questioning the authority of the council silently. Anyways, it took some time before he finally decided to turn away from New Celest, after some soul-searching, finding out that while he believed the ways of Holy Celestia to be a good thing, he did not agree very much with the council and the average Celestian. Around this time he got to know that the home of his ancestors had been re-opened.

What he remembered from before the portal was very blurry, he remembers he was a Trill, flying through the air, and that he had a family who was so as well and did so as well, felt a kinship with New Celest so came to the conclusion that he must have lived there amongst the Trill minority. Now, with the re-arrival of Hallifax, he sought his roots in this city. For this reason he became very closely attached to all things Hallifaxian, regarding them now with the fervor he before felt towards the Holy Supernals, and after having looked very hard for something to believe in Hallifax and its ways did indeed become a very important part of his mindset. Now, some ten to fifteen years later, game time, he is a very devoted Hallifaxian bureaucrat and Sentinel. He has meanwhile been adopted into the Shavatt family, and views the members of it as if they were related by blood.

All in all, Llesvelt tries to be hard working, honest and a good Collectivist all around, he tries ever so much. These days he is not very ambitious, content with his role and his position. I try to play him as a quiet and relaxed person who stays in the background and does not draw attention to his own virtues very much, while having a mild obsession with his failings. He has a bit of a self-worth problem and is very self-aware about it, hoping that others are not annoyed at this perceived weakness. He looks very much up to his father Atellus, his mother Saaga, his aunt Nihmriel and his cousin Ileein. He is very happy in particular for Ileein's succes, but very much berates himself for not living up to his example.

I am not sure if anyone got the vibe i try to espouse, I like immersing myself in my characters and it is sometimes hard for me to reach out to others and start roleplaying with Llesvelt in particular, being a rather shy character, I never find the right time to do so. I would very much like to hear the thoughts of others whom have interacted with Llesvelt.

Yeah, there's a lot more snuggling (etc.) in Hallifax than I expected. Daraius gets intensely annoyed when Hallifax people goof off at the Matrix. As far as I can tell, though, Nihmriel and Saaga only pick the hard-line breed of Hallifaxian to be Shavatt's, so there's at least that.

Daraius thinks all the Skyplumes are nuts, but hopes they might reform their ways. I think a Hallifaxian family feud would be really amusing. Think Grangerfords and Shepherdsons with all the appropriate forms filed in triplicate.

It makes sense to me that Trill would be more snuggly. However, I see the Lucidians as being able to balance that out. Xaakin is supposed to be one of the more "hard-line" Hallifaxians. He's still confused about why affection would be necessary outside of procreative purposes. >.>

Isn't it funny how we all started out wanting to be combatants? And now instead Xiran is squeaky-snuggly-influencer-faeling, and Aramel is crazy-book-astrology-lady.
