So, after all of the arguement, our vig ends up dead and we have an unconfirmed as a leader. I gave you a golden chance to get everything you wanted on day 1, but you dismissed it perhaps because I put it forth and even tried to turn it around on the only person we had a reason to even give an inkling of trust. And for all of this? All that arguement from you? A dead townie, and unconfirmed leader, and a total failure to achieve what the whole point of the struggle was to begin with.

Ugh, I can't believe you set yourself up like this on purpose.. You have to realize how that looks. We have one dead townie, and to prove Celina we would have to kill her, and if she shows up town how do you think you look then? And the worst thing? I don't believe you are scum with the current information, but you sure are looking like a survivor lynch at this rate. You don't get to go off the deep end anymore, if you do the town will lose even more than it already has because of.. That.

In fact, I'm going to help you. We have to turn this around, get at least _something_ positive out of all of this. I think you set yourself up for failure and the scum jumped on the chance to make sure the town had a 0 percent chance of killing any of them on day 1, and create a tangle involving you and Celina that could distract the votes for further days. I think you got used, the problem is right now with all available information you look like the best lynch. We need to change that, and the best way to do so is to go back over whom voted for the "plan" and get their reason for voting. If that is a problem, we can press further and hopefully find somone whose suspicious actions are at least worst than your's. I don't think you are bad at assessment, but damn man, we were telling you what you were doing wrong and you didn't even care..

---------------------------------------------------

Today? I don't mind trying to get a relaxing rest, although by bad they were as follows in the last game on average.

Half everyone's gold
Someone randomly dies
Someone gets rendered useless
Scum get some sort of bonus

We don't know exactly what it may be, but the mod went out of his way to point it out while in other games he kept very quiet about the results that could occur above.

possibility of bad effect aside, I really see no reason why a member of the Fellowship should want night to go through if the opportunity to skip it should arise
Unknown2009-10-02 23:33:44
The cop would. Especially if he has an inno.

But still, I suggested it. I just wanted to make sure someone brought it up. Vote: YES

The group decides it might be a good idea to relax at the waterfall.

Annnnnnnnnnnd...luck seems to be in their favor! Nothing happens! The bunny wasn't an evil jabberwocky or an all-consuming warlock overlord, just a normal bunny. Close one.

After the lynch, the Night 2 will be skipped, and Day 3 will be begin immediately!
Arix2009-10-02 23:42:46
what's the lynch requirement? you forgot to post it
Unknown2009-10-02 23:45:23
14 alive, 8 to lynch (or 8 to pass challenge vote, which you just did)

God, Lorick. Keep up.

The plan was never to kill me. That was your unfortunate plan to waste a whole lot of powers in a short time, that we all disagreed with. The plan was to lynch othero, and we did. The plan was to confirm I actually had the death resistance, and I do. There was no failure. The plan worked exactly as it was supposed to. Now everyone knows their initial suspicion was wrong, and that I didn't claim for the gold or the unlynchableness. I claimed because, as has been proven, I was kill resistant. That was Requiem's plan.

Honestly, I think Daganev was a target because he's Daganev. Did he ever say he had vig powers, because I sure don't recall it. So there's no way the mafia knew he was the vig. Your theory is only valid if the mafia knew Dag was a vig, and they didn't. It was a nightkill we should have (I'm not really surprised by it) all expected. Just because Daganev died doesn't make your plan the better one, nor does it matter since it's over.

I'm having a real hard time following your logic on this one. What "tangle?" The only person distracted is you.

As for tonight...

My guess is the rabbit eats someone Monte Python style, because that's something balizar would do.
Celina2009-10-02 23:57:32
Alternatively, we could have gone with your plan, and the mafia would have known who our Vig was...

And then killed him.

So who cares.

Arix2009-10-03 03:11:04
So, we have two free days, let's not waste them
Lorick2009-10-03 03:23:05
Your election was directly opposite of what Req set out to do. Orginally, he wanted someone he was fairly certain was town in the office. He got hooked on this idea that killing Othero somehow proved you in some fashion and took it way too far. Shiri, Dag, and I told him multiple times why this was wrong, and why he didn't need to go through with it since we had a fairly certain townie anyways. Then, he begins jumping down Othero's and my throat claiming we are both scum over the issue. Why are you defending his actions? There isn't anything even remotely helping the town in it compared to just electing Othero, as his death proved. Also, it would stand to reason Dag would try and go for someone last night. He didn't succeed, meaning he tried to kill something bad and had it rebound on him, or the mafia locked him down and dealt with him. There was very little reason to go after Dag thus with the exception that he was Dag, which is why I'm leaning toward the first option since we have other targets in play.
Arix2009-10-03 03:25:08
I like how my refreshing the thread just makes you go back to arguing with Celina as if there was no pause
Lorick2009-10-03 03:26:18
You disagree with my assessment? You haven't out out one opinion thus far. I'd like to hear them if you have any.
Arix2009-10-03 03:29:53
Gonna be honest here, you are entirely too verbose for me
Lorick2009-10-03 03:30:42
...About the game? You know, what happened last night? Who has been suspicious? That kind of thing?
Furien2009-10-03 03:30:54
Anyways..Lorick, if you wish to vindicate yourself with another summon, now might be a good time though I don't know what you'd conjure up.
Lorick2009-10-03 03:33:58
Waiting to see if we have anyone come forward with more information or have the town take a more direct course of action. The remaining summons actually have a purpose, so I want to use them in a way that helps. Ideally, one would be perfect for backing votes on a target, and I have a day kill, so in theory we could get in three kills today before night. Problem is I don't want to use just use a daykill at random, and my other one works best with a voting base. Shiri would know this, Touhou Day 1, that sort of pairing.
Arix2009-10-03 03:34:33
As far as Daganev dying, I really couldn't begin to pick out a suspect, since it was Daganev, who is and ever shall be an obvious target. If he hadn't died, it probably would have been one of the other mafia veterans, since it's a sound strategy to take out the people who seem to know what they're doing
