Going to do this first in case one of the whores takes me out for the rest of the day.

As for investigative role, that adds up, but it doesn't lead to the conclusion Vendetta wanted. She was saying she thought they might know who Daganev was even before that. It's possible, but it's a bit out there.
It might also explain why Lorick wasn't targetted first for his "jack of all trades" claim. Given the possibilities surrounding him, it does seem like he's too good to be true, depending on how things play out after the ghost king scheme. If he really is town, they might expect us to roast him for them instead of dealing with him themselves.
Shiri2009-10-03 04:15:10
If we're talking daykills, not requiem, we can probably pressure a claim out of him and lynch him if it's unsatisfactory. Jack, on the other hand, has 5 posts, and Silferras has 1 (!). Bali did say he was replacing Silferras though. I think.
Celina2009-10-03 04:15:39
Hold on, I need to find some posts so Lorick will finally stfu.
Arix2009-10-03 04:16:27
I have seen Jack of All Trades roles before, I was one last game and in the Mario game, so I don't see Lorick's claim as unrealistic
Lorick2009-10-03 04:16:55
Not a day kill, just want to get this out of the way first. I'm saving it since we have at least one more day for certain without the scum getting a night kill.

I think you might be overvaluing jacks of all trades here. I consider someone with a daykill, a protection and an investigate worse than any of a vig, doctor or policeman in terms of town usefulness. Sure, Lorick having some town-confidence probably makes him a target for later but his role isn't really that threatening to the scum. If it's the scum that killed Daganev, I'd suspect it was A) because he was a threat as a good player, he was onto something, or C) they knew his role as speculated. Since they didn't go for me yet, I'm going to have to guess B, which again makes me suspicious of req. But we can save that until Lorick's used his daykill.
Lorick2009-10-03 04:20:09
And now I get to enjoy the waiting game..
Arix2009-10-03 04:21:12
You are a very disturbed individual, Bali.
Lorick2009-10-03 04:22:21
I was thinking about showing Arix how real it was, but he calmed down on the necromancer thing (It's not necromancy, it's conjuration, go read a Phb from DnD, all summon spells including undead) so I can help out with Req. Besides, it's a better use of it.
Arix2009-10-03 04:26:40
The act of summoning t he dead to speak to them and gain insight is called Necromancy, it is a form of divination
Unknown2009-10-03 04:27:31
Ah, alright. I haven't encountered a Jack of All Trades before, so I wasn't sure what to make of it or how limited/expansive it is supposed to be.
I'd like to hear Req talk a bit more. Not to seem overly critical, but I wasn't terribly suspicious of him until the points about stress and "how people play around here" came up. It felt like an odd turn for him, and that sort of thing makes me inclined to believe someone is trying to distract from another point. It bothered me when Daganev did this too. Too much emotional charge smells fishy to me, but perhaps that's how some prefer to make their points.
We should probably poke Solanis and Zetsu more, too. On that note, I'm surprised I'm not getting poked more myself.

Heh, but not according to fantasy as derived from dnd. We have kobolds, dwarves, elves, a dragon, warlocks, trolls, and prostitutes. How does that not scream a dnd adventure?

DnD still uses pure necromancy, IE Speak with Dead

Good grief. I'd be scared if I wasn't confident I could run away from a giant snail.
Lorick2009-10-03 04:31:02
Finally! What I get for using snails. How to do this is a manner I would find amusing.
*point at Requiem*
See that one? The twitchy one standing behind the knight. I want to go and give him a biiiig hug, let him know how real you are and how not undead you are, and make sure he has some "Quiet Time". Alright? Can you do that for me?

Fair enough. And in case it wasn't clear yet, I'm not quite comfortable pointing suspicions to any one person immediately.
