Your election was directly opposite of what Req set out to do. Orginally, he wanted someone he was fairly certain was town in the office.

Actually, it's exactly what he set out to do.

Here's Othero offering himself...

QUOTE ( @ Sep 29 2009, 03:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hmm, if you're looking for a blue sac I'll actually put myself up. I think the plan could actually work. I'm not 100% vanilla, I have a revenge ability, but I consider a revenge skill useless anyways. It often just kills a townie.

QUOTE (Othero @ Sep 29 2009, 03:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
It only fires if I'm lynched, kills the last person to vote.

This is good, here's you agreeing it's a great idea.

QUOTE (Lorick @ Sep 29 2009, 04:10 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
That is actually a good plan.. Especially if we don't have to out our vig. I'd best warn you though, I can't res so I don't know for certain there is one. I'd support this on that basis though.

Here's Requiem's plan that never changed.

QUOTE (requiem dot exe @ Sep 29 2009, 04:46 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Yup. Which would verify Celina as kill resistant and remove the layer of protection if we need to kill her later. And if we can rezz someone, we can bring Othero back. Doc should be randomly on Lorick or Celina tonight if we do this. Lorick claimed "jack of all trades" so if he's actually not mafia, then we need him, and Celina would be semi-clear for now. Plus, just the idea of a 50/50 no kill scenario might encourage the mafia to shoot someone else entirely.

QUOTE
Then, he begins jumping down Othero's and my throat claiming we are both scum over the issue.

I vaguely remember him getting upset and saying your were a survivor or something. Provide a quote about Othero being scum.

QUOTE
There isn't anything even remotely helping the town in it compared to just electing Othero, as his death proved.

Wait wait wait, didn't YOU want to kill Othero too?!

QUOTE ( @ Sep 29 2009, 05:49 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Actually, to be honest I'd be more comfortable just voting Othero in as leader. I understand you are attempting to get your cake and eat it to, but when we add more variables we end up with more uncertain issues. I'm fairly certain that the leadership job continues past death, meaning we have two situations-

1. We vote in Othero, then kill, see he is town, res, set the leadership up as fellowship.

2. We vote in Celina, have her vote for Othero, kills him, revenge backlashes on Celina, we then have an unproven leader other than showing she has some form of kill resistance.

Personally, I'd rather do option A since we are making a huge deal over the challenge anyways so we have the most certain results.

Unnominate Lorick, Nominate for Leader Othero

HOLY CRAP.

QUOTE (Lorick)
Also, it would stand to reason Dag would try and go for someone last night. He didn't succeed, meaning he tried to kill something bad and had it rebound on him, or the mafia locked him down and dealt with him. There was very little reason to go after Dag thus with the exception that he was Dag, which is why I'm leaning toward the first option since we have other targets in play.

Nice theory, have any proof that it wasn't a typical random night one killing? No? Well, I guess you're up the :censor: creek without a paddle.

So here's my point with all this. Lorick, you don't have a leg to stand on. Please do weigh down the town with your anti logic jihad for pages and pages like you did with Vendetta last game. In case you forgot, you were wrong on that one.

As for today! I believe Daganev was fairly random, and as Daganev pointed out, he's usually an early death. Why? Because he's a solid debater and follows the game well. Vendetta pointed out the mafia are spies of sorts, but that was Night one, so it's not like they had a lot of time to figure out who was who and investigate. I don't see how they could have gotten the information that Dag was a Vig THEN killed him.

Alternatively, he could have run into some sort of protection, or any number of things, but with no evidence supporting any of it, there's not much of a point to speculating as far as that goes.

Jack has been very quiet.
Celina2009-10-03 04:33:40
wow, long
Celina2009-10-03 04:36:27
Sorry to triple post.

What the hell is the rainbow snail for.
Lorick2009-10-03 04:39:45
Why, those were some very nice cherry picked quotes right there. If you go back to around the time you claimed kill resistances you would see Req's first feelings on the matter, something along the lines of "No one with kill resistance should ever be the leader ever". Your own claim to kill resistance changes three times over the course of the discussion, and now you are picking starts and ends of logic trains to make your point? Egads, how ever will I defeat such superior skill...

Req's plan has gone through stages of development. First, it was just don't ever elect kill resistances and find someone we could trust. Then he starts talking about a sacrifice to ensure the leadership spot goes to a townie. Othero volunteers. Then he goes off the deep end, changes the plan, places you as the head and suddenly tries to force Othero into a death with little purpose or attachment to the orginal attempt. I call him on it, Othero changes his vote to himself, Req freaks out and claims Othero is acting like scum because he supposively "backed out" of the agreement and thus must be somehow in cohots with me or someone else. I've actually read these things, if you don't want to put forth a serious effort, might as well not try Celina.
Lorick2009-10-03 04:42:48
Well, I pretty much did my job for today. Least, I think I did since I don't see Bali about. This power set is obscure as all hell sometimes. If Req had anything dangerous, he shouldn't be able to use it.

Lorick2009-10-03 04:45:50
Purchase some special time with Bianca for 1000

You only live once, why the hell not. Hehe.
Arix2009-10-03 04:46:36
I just hope Req isn't the doctor
Lorick2009-10-03 04:48:47
He shouldn't be, his behaviour at least suggested something different than the big 4.

Finally! What I get for using snails. How to do this is a manner I would find amusing.

*point at Requiem*

See that one? The twitchy one standing behind the knight. I want to go and give him a biiiig hug, let him know how real you are and how not undead you are, and make sure he has some "Quiet Time". Alright? Can you do that for me?

Rawwwwwwrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*sits on Requiem*

Lorick2009-10-03 04:54:28
Last game, the not so important townie roles tended to have the large starting pools, the other roles that didn't could earn more than average from challenges, and the actually mafia was pretty poor by some standards. Visaeris had like 1k at the start, and he was just kill resistant for example.
Arix2009-10-03 04:58:47
And I had to get money by stealing it. but I was also the investigator
Lorick2009-10-03 05:01:06
So, Arix, am I necromancer still?
Lorick2009-10-03 05:06:27
Might as well here his thoughts and reason. Vote : Requiem dot exe

Anyone ninja lynches they get a day kill though, so don't even try it.
Shiri2009-10-03 05:07:29
Didn't you just flatten him with a snail?
Arix2009-10-03 05:07:52
If you did that King Anthony thing a lot, then yes. Otherwise, not really. The definition doesn't say anything about frequency of use
Casilu2009-10-03 05:08:24
It bothers me you have that much gold, actually. Considering my role, I thought I'd just have a large amount of money, well, larger than most of you, at least. Though, for reasons that I do not wish to state at this time, I thought scum would have more than me...
Lorick2009-10-03 05:09:19
He is being sat on. He can't vote, he can talk, and he can't use day actions. If you want to test him, I don't want a repeat of medicine. Go ahead, he is still kicking if a tad, erm, busy I guess is the word.
Lorick2009-10-03 05:15:15
If the trend follows the last game, scum should have something close to 250 gold with maybe one having around 500. The sc had 1k, innocence, and a nightkill, and a few townies had really high gold totals (1k ish) with others having close to nothing. They had challenges that were pretty much tailor made to them though where they earned up to 1k for just getting voted for example. We haven't had a gold challenge yet, starting gold evens out really really fast with the exception of the mafia in that game since only Xenthos ever got elected to anything.
