You're welcome to script something and go make lunch while you collect squid.
Simply do not be surprised if you've grown a few new limbs by the time you get back! (Hahaha, get it? Where's Casilu. This is gold!)
I really urge you all to finish the city's quests before you start suggesting changes - only because you don't know what is involved in the epic line after you get the fifth celestian (or Magnagoran) honours, and I'm not tellin'!

I'm guessing... 3 quests. The first one gives 5000 power, the second 15000 power, the third 25000 power. And all of them are just one-time things which can be done any time. Am I close?
Unless the 3 final quests are a lot harder than Glom's / Seren's final three, there's a huge disparity in terms of how fast the cities can complete them (and even if they are harder... the cities can ram through the first 5 honours very rapidly, and then the final ones can be done "at any time" when the people are ready, without competition).

I do think they're a good bit harder, but that's just my opinion. I guess we'll see, huh? And behind door number two is...

PIE!

Blueberry?

Nonsense, I had blueberry pie last night. I did make a blackberry pie this evening though, however, and it shall be delicious. The plan is to eat it while watching the Biggest Loser.
Wait, why are we talking about pies again?

Granted, if I think Celest's component quests are what I think they are, I believe they would be a great deal harder than Seren's at least, since I've done all the quests Gregori has in his log and they're not too hard.

So, you'll be sitting in front of the T.V. eating pie while watching fat people excercising and trying to lose weight. And here I thought Fain was the most spiteful of the elders. And we're talking about pies because they are delicious. I wish I could have some.

As I told my friend the other night - I like to pretend they can see me.

I don't think so. I'm thinking that the epic quest components are brand new. Or at least I hope they are, for if not. Change, at the penalty of blunt knives!!

Now THAT'S how you threaten people. Nobody's afraid of blunt knives. Well, except lucidians maybe, because they'd actually be more dangerous than the normal kind.
Kiradawea2009-10-01 23:32:45
Why do you think the knives are blunt? They've been used to cut up all the pie.

Have you ever tried to cut a pie with a blunt knife?
Anyway, back to boring quests without flavour!!

House said this to Wilson during Monday's episode. Except it was ice cream rather than pie.
I do not believe this is coincidental.

I don't watch House, haven't for a season or two. I saw it on Texts from Last Night, I think. That website is addictive.

And I'm being scolded for participating in this terrible hijack, so let's go back on topic, ahem ahem, before I'm scolded further.

Put time limits on the Celest / Magnagoran ones to only allow 1 prophecy per weave, please.
That way it's still faster than Communes (1 per 24 hours, can be done any time), versus 1 hour out of every 32...
... but that is at least partially accounted for by the "harder ending quests". Maybe. :/

Or maybe 1 per month (25 hours), so that the time it opens up changes by an hour every day. (This is in a new post just so that it is seen! Too late to edit it in for Eventru to read, I imagine, but you can combine them if you'd like)

Hold on, I want to make sure I understand this. So, we are allowed to write a little script of collect all of the squid?
