Yeah, I "bugged" that pyrotoxin should also be found on adult manticores, but was refused on the basis that this might cause an imbalance (assuming that it is quest-able for a reason). The bug report suggested that this should be further pursued through an envoy report... though I never did.

Pyrotoxin is really sucky on the basis of anything but novelty at the moment anyways, so it's no major loss.

Yeah. And the extra damage dealt isn't even as good as sensitivity. Unless this has some good sync with whatever Gaudiguch spec eventually gets released, I don't see how having more than one source of it per hour could even begin to be conceived as "unbalanced". At least we can ignore it without consequence.

Given the ridiculous "quest" (which doesn't even have an honours line!) to get more adders for anatine and the lengthy corpse gathering/exchanges needed to get just one vial of pyrotoxin, you can't really be surprised, can you?

Not surprised, just sadly disappointed.

Ah well. Guess there needs to be some "rare" poisons as a means to sell the poisoner glove artie.
