I'll be a doll and help you out with your confusion on the rules. Xavius' faction is still alive and kicking. They can -still- win if they are the last faction with players in the game.

But we remain at an impasse. We can pressure everyone all we want, but everyone will probably just claim 'Neutral Ronin' for their own good and there's nothing we can really do as far as confirmations come...

Vote: No Lynch

Dunno what else to do.
Furien2009-10-04 06:01:24
Scratch that, let's do lurkers.

Unvote

Excorsize: Xavius

Be gone spirit.

Meh, one leader down already. So that means that not all of us will be able to join a faction.

There is a commonality of interest between the two non-Xavius factions and the non-recruited to lynch those from the Xavius faction, but I think our ability to find out who those people are is pretty small. Unless someone has a solid lead, it will just be a shot in the dark.

Second best is no lynch.

If every recruitment was successful last night, then it is now 3-3-3(2, with Xavius dead), as it's unclear right now whether the other leaders have the same ability as Xavius or whether the kill last night was done by an independent (meaning non-leader...I'd think they'd have to be aligned with a faction in order to be willing to kill). If the killing was done by a leader it's now 3-2-(2-3, depending on whether Xavius was killed before he could make his recruitment) ... I still don't think it's in the factions' interest to lynch someone without knowing their alignment because they could still lynch a non-recruit. Though by tomorrow at the latest I would think the majority will want to lynch someone.

Vote: No lynch.
Zenon2009-10-04 17:11:16
There's no way to get a majority on a non-Xavius faction member, and the odds of picking a Xavius member are at best 2 in 11, so a lynch isn't really worth it, as far as I can see.
Vote: No lynch
Dai2009-10-04 18:17:05
I'm going to throw in my vote for no lynch also. I conjointly offer my apologies for my laxity in posting in this topic; it's less a matter of lurking and more a matter of only being able to access a PC at highly specific times.
Mirami2009-10-04 20:35:58
I am also going to Vote: No Lynch. There's no real reason to lynch anybody unless we can confirm they're a Ninja-recruit, and they're not exactly coming forward.
Dugan2009-10-04 22:10:24
Why all the votes for a no lynch?
Unknown2009-10-04 23:11:21
Vote: no lynch
Unknown2009-10-04 23:35:12
Dugan, we're not going to get enough majority to lynch someone.

vote no lynch
Unknown2009-10-04 23:43:58
And that's a no lynch.

It is now NIGHT 2.

YOU HAVE 48 HOURS TO SEND IN YOUR NIGHT ACTIONS.
Dugan2009-10-04 23:44:50
Why did y'all sign up if you weren't going to play. Voting no lynch does not help us in any way. One shogun is dead. You have a 1 in 10 or a 1 in 9 chance of getting recruited. Only six ronin can get recruited, three are already stuck out. Whether you start actually voting for people today or tomorrow, you still have the same wine in front of me game. So when are you guys going to start playing?

Waking up you all find another body, Solanis, with his throat slit open.

Solanis was:
QUOTE
Priest Ronin

You've got the gods on your side and the right leader can have them on their side too. For the right amount of money you can preach to the troops and raise their spirts, at the same time bringing a curse down on the enemies.

Curse- You can call a curse down onto one of the players, giving all of their actions a 50% chance of failure. To do this send a PM to the mod with the words Curse

You win when the Bandit Leader's team is the last one standing.

It is now day three. With 10 alive it is 6 to lynch.

Mirami2009-10-05 18:06:29
Since Dugan seems so intent to get lynching, I'm going to go ahead and Vote: Dugan.
Kiradawea2009-10-05 18:06:31
So...

shall we start looking for that killing person before we're all killed by this throat slitting serial killer?

Or would you like to relinquish our one reliable ability to eliminate the opposition?

I don't want to die. This game is too much fun, but this killer is really getting me worried.
Kiradawea2009-10-05 18:13:45
Any particular reason why you chose Dugan over anyone else Romertien?

Do we know for certain that this is a serial killer? Xavius possessed the ability to nightkill, and lamented not using it upon his demise; perhaps what we're seeing is a different faction leader exercising his ability more freely. I'm still operating under the assumption that there's no conventional scum-group in this game, and that the main conflict is that between the three faction groups.

He wanted lynches both days before; the only benefit in such a lynch (at that time) would be if he was trying to kill people.

Therefore, if we want to eliminate a killer, I suggest we eliminate Dugan.
