In seriousness, though, Kira has a good point... where's Lorick? He's certainly quite verbose in the other mafia game.

Keel: Tervic

But yeah. Looking at Lorick. He went completely silent after I suggested that he might be the killer. Silence is condemning. Silence after something like that... yeah. I see no reason not to turn Lorick into shishkebab.

Vote: Lorick.

I would like to chime in that I've been able to confirm that Lorick is not the killer. I'm also fairly sure, unless there's some way to bypass my power, that Zynna is also not the killer.
Furien2009-10-06 21:55:26
As for 'where Lorick is', go take a look at the Quest Mafia thread. He'd consistently trading vomited walls of text with Requiem. Even reading it is tiring to the extreme.
Kiradawea2009-10-06 22:00:18
That's actually why I found it so condemning. If he can drop dictionaries in that thread, the least he could do is figure what things got to do with the price of rice.

Well, you see, rice prices are usually determine by blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah irrelevant crap.

UNVOTE for now

while I re-read the thread and think about what needs doing.
Kiradawea2009-10-06 22:55:43
Well, it was a joke on the expression "what's that got to do with the price of fish", but since we're in Japan, and Cherries would just be wonky, I chose rice.

I can also confirm that Lorick is not the killer, or at least that he did not kill Xavius. Zynna didn't kill Solanis either. Odd how I picked the same targets as Furien.
I wouldn't be too surprised if Lorick is quiet both because of those walls of text in the Quest 2 and just because he doesn't want attention.
How many Ronin would be in each team by now? It might at least help the surviving factions to lynch some wandering Ronin, just to help them get a future majority. Although the wandering Ronin and Xavius-ers might be the only ways to get a majority. Unless we have information on the killer, I'll abstain from voting for now.
Daganev2009-10-07 04:24:59
don't lynch the lurkers, let me replace them smile.gif k thnx
Kiradawea2009-10-07 09:01:06
Merf. Excorsize: Daganev

*mutter* Blasted ghosts popping up everywhere.

And... two roleblockers targetting the same person? Sounds unlikely. Time to figure out who's the tracker and who's the Shogun. geek.gif

Zynna2009-10-07 12:51:17
I can confirm I'm not the killer (though of course their word is more valuable to you all than mine) and as I've yet to be converted to a faction that would make neither of them a shogun. I don't know that it would be unusual to have 2 people with some roleblocking abilities.

I haven't voted for Dugan because I don't get the sense he's wandering ronin like me nor is there enough indication he's from Xavius' group.

Too late. You already did that, remember?

Just to make sure I haven't missed anything, people are suspicious of either Dugan for day 1 lynch attempt or Lorick for being a total lurker despite being famous for his epic walls of text?
Kiradawea2009-10-07 15:50:31
Hey, I can go get more links if you want.

And I think it's mostly me. I found Dugan's behaviour suggestive that he might be taken up by the "Xaviusers", but right now I think a better choice would be to get rid of Lorick. Lurkers add nothing to the game, and him clamping up like that while remaining so active in the other thread is iffy at best.

But the lack of posting also means that we have no -real- reason to lynch him. Maybe his role demands silence?
Kiradawea2009-10-07 16:11:04
Now you're just grasping at straws. If his role demanded silence, then why shut up in the middle of the day with no prior warning? Unless someone has a power of sorts that does that (and I doubt it'd last more than to the end of the day anyway if such was the case) there's no reason for him to be silent.

Also, Dugan is right on one account. We need to start lynching, or we'll get nothing done. If you guys are so worried about wasting a lynch though, why not have a dayvig (assuming there is one) take out Lorick. The doctor can protect the dayvig if you're worried about that. *shrug*

C'mon. Start discussing more.
Zynna2009-10-07 16:34:45
I don't have anything to add at the moment. As a sad ronin without a leader, I don't want to mistakenly lynch my hopefully future faction. (Recruit me please!) But, yeah, it does seem odd that with all that Lorick has to say in the other game, he is quiet here....so, perhaps worth exploring. But for vote count purposes, you shouldn't depend on my vote, as I'm only going to vote if I think it's highly likely the person is with Xavius (or perhaps a wandering ronin, although I'd want to make sure my team has enough potential recruits to reach the full 4 members).
Tervic2009-10-07 16:46:50
Does someone have a vote-count?
Lorick2009-10-07 17:00:42
My role doesn't demand silence, we just don't have a Req in this game to keep me as involved. Lets face it, the results of this game will be as random as it set up, the only ones capable of starting a bandwagon right now would be the Shogun's group due to the other two losing members.
Kiradawea2009-10-07 17:04:40
Then what do you suggest we do? Something needs to be done.

Oh wait. I know. You all give up and appoint me Shogun of Japan because I have the most posts in this game. *nodme*

Lorick2009-10-07 17:11:24
Well, it's pretty much going to work like this. One faction has most likely recruited the only nightkill Ronin or their leader has a nightkill option. They don't need a lynch to do their job, but they would like to control it. The other two factions each have lost a member with the Ninja faction being particularly crippled but still in the game and the Bandit faction only down one member. Following ideal recruitment those factions would have 2 - 3 while the Shogun would have 3. No one is going to want to admit their faction, and power claims are useless. More likely than not, each side is going to have a mixture of the most effective people since on day 1 the leaders would of tried to recruit from the player side and not the role side of things. That would sitll be holding true this far in simply because no one has come forward with their role.

So, anyone who has been active is most likely a member of one faction or another. Any lynch results will be as random as the selection due to the lack of information, and the one's with the advantage there would be the shogun side of things.
