So, I've been trying to work out bonecrusher for a while now... and it's okay, but I'm having some problems with it. I can't seem to get around leg parrying, and having a leg and the head parried just really kills me. I figure I can get it working, but I'm considering switching to blademaster.

So, debate! As a Stag user, what do people think I should go with? They both have merit, and the strategies are different, so I can't make up my mind.

Also, just as a side note, what's the point of Pulp as a trans skill? Isn't it essentially just a powered targetted swing?

ill say that i think bm is better than bc but if you cant get past parry as a bc thats your problem not a problem with the spec. as a bm there a different ways to prone and then there is the shuyin tactic which consists only of pinleg so you still have the leg parry issue.

Pulp is trash. Stun is an auto parry bypass. BC can stun on head and chest jab (this is your clue). One of the alternate BM strategies can be difficult to pull off, given the need for a double wound + double poison proc. BM has the most non leg/head options.

Yeah, I know it's just me being a moron on parrying, it just doesn't seem like BCs have the same distribution of viable afflictions across the body as BMs do. BMs have ears, scalp, slitthroat, pinleg, pierceleg, collapse nerve, impale, pierce/collapse lung... BCs really have breaknose, breakchest, crush windpipe, and knockdown.

It seems like BCs are at their best with ur'Guard using Necromancy, with all of the off-bal knocks and things. I can't do that. I think I'm leaning towards BM. It's more like monk combat, which is... as far as I have one, my specialty.
