Well I'm sure zap is going to be nerfed. It's just like thunderclap. It was all well and good when only a few people had it, but once there became more and more titans/demis and people started to double-clap it just had to go.
Same thing is happening with zap, there's too many demigods which is allowing for this sort of instakill action. Give it another year and combat is going to be just a pure zap war. There's a reason that annoying rage coven skill has so many requirements (timing and people), it's just such a powerful thing to be able to do.

Dragoncraft was only introduced because most classes as dragon + arties killed everything in like 2 attacks.

I think a "zap immunity" timer would be a great idea to stop this sort of thing. It doesn't render it utterly useless for ranged damage but it does make the application a tad harder and more restrictive. I could see it making zap stop being a group spamm move into a one or two person job while the real fighters get into the thick of it.
