And see, I've heard of Mistborn. About what, a year or two ago I was labouring over whether or not I should read it. I think, in the end, I ended up with the Lost Souls series from Dragonlance, or whichever it's called. Not a decision I regret, certainly.

I'm afraid to read Mistborn, if only because, should I dislike it, I'll bear some resentment towards the final WoT books. Should I like it, I'll become far too eager for them to be finished.

It was good. There were points in time when you could tell the author was trying a bit too hard to keep it Robert Jordan-esque, but I enjoyed it.

Good to hear. Unfortunately I -still- haven't finished Knife of Dreams, so TGS will be chilling on my shelf for a few more weeks I fear.

I had completely forgotten it came out. Thankfully, every time my dad goes to Costco, he looks over the book section and recognized it.

I finished it that night. happy.gif

I'm being told that the rumours about Cadsaune are true.

I dare not wish to piss her off, for certain.

What're the rumors about Cadsuane?

Also, for a bit of speculation that has nothing to do with TGS, just about Demandred:

Am I the only one that things Demandred = Taim?
Unknown2009-10-31 01:57:07
Jordan's repeatedly said that Demandred isn't Taim, pretty sure. Though I thought so too.

Blargh.

So many things fit for it though. sad.gif

Cadsaune always said she'd bring someone over her knee and spank them. I'm told it happened. I'm excited to read the book, but I'd really like to read Knife of Dreams again first. I don't think I'll manage to stop myself long enough, though.
Merik2009-10-31 03:41:55
Oh yeah, she does do that.

It's fantastic. happy.gif

I had completely forgotten how much I loved reading these books. Started gathering of the storms last night. I was reminded that Robert Jordan is what got me wanting to MUD in the first place.
