That actually never occured to me.... Maybe if you concede like that, both people lose defs as though they died in the arena?

One of the primary needs for the concession, though, is to get out of the arena and go defend against raiders. You don't want to do that without your defenses, do you?

Maybe some day there will be some cool code that saves/restores your character's entire state when entering/exiting the arena, instead of the few fields that are remembered currently. Until that day, we'll have to live with what we've got (and that day might never even come around).
