Lovely choke, good practice for my curing! Even though I ended up dying someone near the end and my lack of Choke offense led to it.

Welcome back! Was expecting more of a mana drain with two SD and a Harbinger, but you just got back.

Should claws/phantom chokers - if your meld was large enough, you could stalker, stolensight+claws as well. Plus, as a telekinetic, you can burst - a good alternative to staff is some situations, because bleeding is God in choke. An angry, vengeful God. Only risk with this is Sadhyra walking in and giving you a faceful of pain with widowsmercy, but if Sadhyra walked in you'd be screwed anyway due to nightshadeblues.

Could also have used fling for concussion+choke, but I can't remember if fling gives concussion while indoors or just a damaged head.

Should also have been using metawake (if you have it), tsk! The mana/willpower cost is negligible compared to being able to disregard pixie - I noticed you trying to staff it to death at one point. Not raelly worth it, can just summon it back for 1p.

Good tips, thanks, all very true. Just have to remember to give out the passive afflictions.

And, I apparently should've put insomnia as a higher priority when hit with Choke. Oops.

You don't know how to fight in choke. First, staff spam is not going to kill me with any degree of efficiency (illithoid with racial resistance to poison, 7k health, shadows+healing aura+regen for, nightkiss and snake totem for DMP). Second, you aren't even watching what's going on. Like here.

There's a good reason I don't apply health to cure blindness and deafness, even in Choke, though maybe it's something to consider. The outr/eat thing is very annoying, but it's still sometimes necessary.

The #1 problem in Choke is offense getting in the way of the curing, replacing the commands you need to survive with desperate attempts to flee or hinder your attacker. Ruiku did have the good sense to pause the system when he wanted to get away, so at least there's that.

I'd love to see a log from the choker's perspective, just to know how you deal with afflictions, escape, and offense. Or, maybe it really is just the passive effects that do most of that for you. Heh.

Haha I deffinately forgot I had the line, but I did not see the choke or warning either way. My monitor is quite small, the text just flies.

I have the log vs Yukio, but not the log for the Earth/Nil raid.

In choke, my suggestion is either pre out-rift or apply for blindness if you get caught without it. The fewer commands, the better IMO.

Well, that's the idea of Choke, right. You choke when you can hit them more than they can hit you. Passives help.
