Do you still have to target those by number? Because... yeah... that's a problem if you still have to put in the exact number instead of just "ghost" because it will automatically target the one ghost you have in your inventory. *blank face*

That's creepy.. you looked at my nexus code while I'm at work didn't you!?

Good point. Not a big deal, though, really. I have all my extra crap like command echoes gagged to a secondary window. Eventually it would stop, as there'd be no ghosts. However, if you wished, replace the trigger line with a few similar ones that would always fire (ie the line when the ghost rises up, the line when one enters) and you're good to go.

When the ghost rises up is a bad idea too, because it will never work unless you're in a room with no exits. Or in a place where there's a loop. The ghosts always seem to do 3 moves on spawning (sometimes they go out, in, then out again), heh.

So, just the "moves in" line will do it. And then further check to see if you have balance/eq so you can put it in your pack when you catch it. Then there is no work required at all.

Actually, upon further thought, there's an even better method. #trigger {"ghost%1"} {boo %1;put %1 in pack}, and then #trigger {A translucent ghost} {ih} - this even works for people without packs, 'cuz it'll still boo them all by replica numbers.

Edit: And it won't worry about balance for if you can put in your pack, either. For the lazy scripter!

That trigger should be {~"ghost(%d)~"} in zMUD at least.

Careful with that trigger. If you walk into a large group of ghosts it could lag you out.

Oh, I guess I should preclude with the fact I use CMUD, huh. Well see there folks, we've got two major clients covered at least.
