So what? Really. At this point you think most of us give a crap if Glom players can't be dickheads? Hell give me those AIM's I will message them myself everytime you show your face in Serenwilde then run away. I really just don't care anymore. Shuyin didn't move to Glomdoring and make it better. Shuyin moved to Glomdoring and concentrated the biggest group of lamers there is. All he did is empower the worst of everything Lusternia has to offer and I hope he is proud of that legacy.
The crap that Glom has pulled has far outdone anything Mag ever did to Serenwilde. Give me Thoros and Romero raiding any day. At least they stuck around to fight, and could.
Anyways I am done with it. Have fun.

Fun fact: Urazial and myself fought no less than 6 Serens in a meld, in Etherseren. Incluuuuding Solanis, Lehki, Kinson, and Kolm!
Less crying, more facts.
edit: No toads! All damage kills.

Whoa whoa, I didn't move to Glomdoring to 'concentrate' anything, I moved (when the going was -still- good for SW, mind you) because I wanted a change of pace. All I did was play and try to help my e-org get better, the same thing I did when I was in SW. That's all.

Don't worry, I won't tell them that you were the one advocating taking it easy on Seren.

No, I don't care about defenders. It's either an opportunity to kill some people or I die and a tiny, tiny piece of my essence mountain is chipped away. Or a little of both.
I just think using AIM to summon IG fighters is dumb. If anyone did that to me, I'd flip them the e-bird. When I'm logged off, I'm freaking logged off.

Well, I've both called and been called, and I can pretty well vouch for the fact that it's slow. I've never gotten an IM saying to defend Glumki (because that's stupid), but I've gotten an IM saying that Glumki went down, with the implication that if I can find some free time, I should use it to go gather essence. Is it proper? Not really, but neither is taking advantage of low numbers. The whole "logging off" concept is just a lampshaded OOC thing anyways.
Anyways, Nienla, if anyone pre-emptively addressed that raid, it's because a Glom told a Seren, or a Glom told someone who was going to tell a Seren. If you want to surprise Serenwilde, don't tell Serenwilde. I think it's more likely that you weren't paying very close attention. Still, again, if you're making your raiding decisions based on who you can scry beforehand, you deserve everything you get.

Maybe the crap Glom has pulled outdoes Mag ever did to Serenwilde, but it probably doesn't outdo what Serenwilde has supposedly done to Glomdoring for so long.
Are you seriously going to sit there and try and claim retribution for what happened to Glomdoring 5 years ago? Not one of you in Glom with the exception of Xenthos and possibly Xavius has any leg to stand on for trying to say "this is retribution for what you did to us!" Former Mags playing at being Gloms, Former Seren playing at being Gloms, and noobs just joining the game don't get to toss the "what goes around comes around" card. If you want Xenthos can raid us on a nightly basis and claim retribution, though.
Now, having been someone who was there, I will tell you - Glom has reached new levels of low on a daily basis compared to Serenwilde's past actions.

I didn't say that's why you moved there. I said that's the result of you moving there.

There as no aimsummon or whatever you want to call it in regards to liveforest, I was standing at the archway when you guys all walked in, I'm guessing you were following shuyin so ask him to check logs. 14ish gloms appearing is a sorta of a "go liveforest right now" situation.

No no. Oh no no. Not even close. You must've moved in after the admin installed the archways and started yelling at Narsrim. Until you don't have time to do anything except fight and gather things to continue the fight, you're not there yet.

I'll pull that card! I was a Mag when Celenwilde shat on us repeatedly. I was also there when Seren camped the baby for 3 days after killing Crow repeatedly. Neither of which was 5 years ago.
You have one heck of a high horse, and one remarkably short term memory. I don't think anyone is "worse." It's all pretty even. At worst, you could argue that it's a steady downhill spiral where each shift in org power results in harsher curb stompings, but that's not really the same thing as what you are saying.
edit: The proof in how wrong you are lies in this question: How many times has the flame fallen recently? Behold, you are now enlightened.

That's pretty much all I do anymore... but then again, I'm a druid, so I sort of asked for it...

You haven't been in Glomdoring since day one! (Neither was I, in all fairness--I joined in the DoC ganking with the rest of Celest.) It never looks as bad from the aggressor's angle.

It's just that being wrong doesn't matter in some cases!
My wife and I have an agreement about things like this. When we can't reconcile a difference, she gets to win and I get to be right. It's a nice compromise. Give it a try, see if it works.

I still remember when you would come to Prime Glomdoring to chop down elder trees (some were in response to a few Gloms chopping down your elders, yes).
I also remember the time when Serenwilde destroyed the Drums and killed Crow, then proceeded on blocking us from taking the baby of Stewartsville. In line with that event, you also again killed Crow right after he was raised, because Glomdoring's quest can only be done at a New Moon.
I also recall a huge raid by Serenwilde+Magnagora which killed Ethilwen (Dwarf Queen), then proceeded on killing all the Avatars of Night, and then, to hinder us from gathering foreign essence, killed the Ebonglom Wyrdling.
Most of those have been fairly recent - recent enough for a 62-year-old character (IG, duh!) to remember. You're probably right, though - if we could block you from doing your epic quest by camping at an item outside your territory, and if we could somehow block the Moon Falls from converting essence, we'd maybe do it.
Unknown2009-11-04 12:35:42
The killing of Ethilwen was just unfortunate timing, especially considering that her crowning was supposedly an accident. So, the "raid" was in "retaliation" for the stealing of all the dwarves. That was then followed up with Glomdoring "raiding" on three separate fronts: Alacardael in Rockholm, Urazial defiling on Avechna's Peak, and Celina (with someone else, not sure who) attack Etherwilde. The Avatars and everything else that followed was in response to these immediate and inordinate actions.
