Let us see a history of the last 10 broadcasts over a channel by entering its alias without anything else. For example, 'ct' to see ct history, 'shipt' to see shipt history. Pretty simple! The admins already log everything that happens, from a leaf falling in the Etherwilde to an Ur'guard farting deep within the Catacombs, so it would just be a matter of capturing some of that information and presenting it to us in a pretty way. It would be really helpful for anyone who logs in mid-conversation/argument/revolt, and would reduce the amount of scrolling necessary to keep track of what's going on in aetherspace or with your wargames team, etc.

Other IRE's have this, and I agree.

Yus.

Make it 20 like other IREs. CTELLS to see the first line for the last 20 tells, CTELLS FULL to see everything said for the last 20 tells.

Agreed!

This could get really embarrassing when I talk to myself at 5am when noone else is around.

Is it as embarrassing as spending hours AFK in public during primetime?

I agree as I miss stuff in combat and its a pain to bring it up after the combat time

As a stopgap until these get put in, for zmud uses you can easily make a channel capture setup.
Go to your settings menu, make a new trigger. Go to the tab that says OPTIONS and select ANSI TRIGGER. Then, copy the channel you want to capture and paste it into the pattern and delete everything after the #m part. Put a * to indicate anything in that color will be caught. Then in the command, put #cap. eg #cap RP or #cap chatter.
I have all my channels color coded for that, so all the city/guild/Court tells go to one window, all the combat tells go to another, etc. It also makes for really easy capturing for RP logs, if you set it for emotes and says!
