Now, back to finishing up Maylea for the time being. Will probably add a bit more flora as the weeping willow might be too large an object on the background at this stage. (Should have done it first.)

Hm, an idea: maybe instead of doing the whole willow, just a few branches hanging down? It would help fill the corner and not be too big of a thing to put into the space. Just a thought.

You could do Shashi fluttering in, as a mild suggestion. You'd need to bug Maylea or one of hers for its description, though.

We've got baby pictures and snapshots throughout his growth! Ooo, we should publish a photo album!

Perhaps a baby Shashi, if someone has a description or two? I already worked in some bluebells so it will need to be a small Shashi or perhaps just a glimpse of their feathers or whatever! I shall post what I have now in a tiny bit as I just need some coffee first!

Just a thought.

Right after hatching:
Little more than a ball of down and fluff, this chick can fit easily in the palm of the hand. His feathers are mottled with shades of ivory and brown, giving no hint as to what kind of bird he may grow up into. His golden eyes are filled with intelligence and curiosity, proving that whatever his heritage, he is a very special creature.

Adolescence:
Crowned by a ring of deep blue feathers, the white facial markings on this young peacock give him a certain inquisitive expression. His eyes are pure gold in colour and filled with intelligence, compassion, and above all else, curiosity. The rest of his small body is beginning to show the brilliant blue plumage of an adult peacock, though he has yet to grow the magnificent tail feathers that will eventually adorn him.

I can get his adult form if you want it, but don't have it right now. Also, here's the willow tree:

The sturdy trunk of this tree rises little over the height of the average human to the apex of supple branches overhead. A riot of leaves weigh heavily upon the tree limbs, falling gracefully in arcs back towards the earth, some nearly touching the ground. Many peculiar buds unfold amid the canopy of leaves, some beginning to open into new and brilliant flowers. The bark on this strange tree is silvery, and the leaves almost glow with verdant glory, fed by the supernatural power of this place. Four flowers have come to full bloom upon the willow, a falling star blossom, a golden pixie bell, a cottony lion tail, and an alabaster snowdrop flower.

Okay, added in Shashi but I am worried that it might be just too much and make the image... crowded.

It's not crowded at all!

I don't think it's crowded either, but if you do... that's why I suggested the tree in the first place -- since you can put it up higher, farther from Her, and therefore make it seem more spaced out.

I like the Shashi (sp?) in it. Though I might move him to be more towards the top part of the picture. It just feels a bit ...empty. Moreso since the other cards have the top space filled.

That only comes to sixteen, unfortunately. Even counting Estarra, that's seventeen. Sior might make eighteen. If you want the full twenty-two, you'd have to include historical gods. (Maybe the Nine Vernals, if you dropped some of the inactive ones like Auseklis and Lyreth?)

But, more to the point, these are amazing.

I realise this may be a little (very) late, but have you considered using Maylea's shiny rainbow aura halo thing?

You're Magnagoran, right? Because that would explain how you were able to do necromancy.
