So I recently got into a spat with Nienla and a duel happened; Nienla claims it wasn't a duel due to some odd rules that I apparently broke or something by running away but I wasn't about to let someone choke me knowingly. Any who, most of the log is me not letting her release shadows- which I think is a perfectly valid strategy but according to Nienla I'm wrong - and this is where the nitty-gritty starts. Enjoy!

I am curious though, as I did say I run a lot when I know choke is coming, is there really any other way to fight against choke? Barring coding a second choke system and/or manualling? Cause I think running worked quite well.

No, this wasn't a taunt. It's not even supposed to make anyone feel bad. If that is the effect of my posting this, I'm sure an admin or a moderator will more than willingly delete it.

Running until the person makes a mistake is a valid tactic as I said above. But just posting the last snippet and saying that is the "nitty gritty" is pretty silly. This log contains exactly 1 useful thing, which she already learned instantly before it was posted. It shows nothing, it proves nothing, it doesn't even include your tactic and her attempts to try to stop it.

I don't think that's what Lekius was asking. It's pretty obvious from the description that the entirety of the duel was Nienla trying to establish choke, and Lekius trying to avoid it, and when it was obvious that it was going nowhere, he tried a skill that Nienla walked right into. Now, he's posting here asking if there's any other way rather than just play tag with shadows and hope for them to do something dumb. If you're not going to help, please, at least don't call the kettle black and accuse him of trolling.

The way you described it came off as very passive-aggressive, and gave the impression that you did have a problem with it. If you truly had no problem with it, apologies, but then you misunderstood or mislabeled the tactic. Regardless, I'm sure that Nienla can either attest to the fact that the rest of the log is just pointless tag or post it herself. No foul, really, and I think you're getting a bit worked up over nothing.
