I find this amusing. You try to insult someone who did actually make a good point, longnight had other options on the table far worse, nekotai do not need a stun/prone mod they can use to up damage and assure a hit, and only when they lost succumb did they decide they needed to remove something they have known for AGES.
Nekotai are indeed the most powerful monks in Lusty. Because no one should be able to stack bleeding that high that fast, and they do it while doing damage, wounds, venoms, and other afflictions. See an issue here? That sounds like a geomancer after using claws, phantoms, and making demesne, and you STILL outafflict them actively. Heaven forbid you hyperactive first and pull it every couple seconds.
Give me a comparative guild, and I dont mean ohh tahtetso can do their insta still if they are in a group. I mean real comparisons.

Everybody always thinks their own points are good. Rarely is it the case of people who declare it so openly.
All I ever hear from you is whine this Glom ability, whine that Glom ability, all the skills of Serens/Mag/Celest are fine, BUT GLOM IS OP THEY HAVE ALL THE GOOD SKILLS NERF.

I'd actually like to know what character I'm being accused of being now. I can add it to the extremely long list of "people I've been accused of being so it sates the delusions of grandeur". Hilariously and ironically, Shaddus is one of the names on that list. So yes, I am quite ashamed.
And maybe because the Ninjakari don't have anyone that knows how to use their abilities. Shocker.

wonderful. Make an alt and show us.
As for you, Evaine, quit being so butthurt.

Hey guys, the succumb "change" was suggested way before it got switched. And even then, it's not even a nerf or anything, just making incurable aurawarp be cured before succumb.
Otherwise, glad to see Shaddus is back to being crazy on the forums.

Succumb wasn't suggested until it was posted Glom was losing it. Though I have heard the statements about how numerous Glom envoys felt it should be changed before then... just none of those numerous envoys who agreed ever actually did anything about it.

I'm not being crazy, I'm being quite serious. If Nienla claims that Whisper is OP and needs a nerf, by all means show us so it can be fixed. We're trying to find this "mishap" that Nienla swears Whisper causes with Dfire, and it doesn't seem to happen. Do you have a log?
Seriously, let's get back on subject before the post gets locked and people get warned. This has gotten a bit out of hand, and the testosterone is a bit heavy.

It's not just whisper, it's anything that throws off EQ. Which whisper tends to do, so I hear.

Everybody always thinks their own points are good.
Except it was a good point. Not even arguing the skills needing/not needing to be changed.
Nienla's arguement: Would biased people be nerfing our own skills?! Here's my proof! *insert three reports from Glom envoys*
Munsia/Shaddus counter: Succumb does not belong to Shadowdancers any more. A new skill for the Nekotai is not a nerf in any way. And a Longnight change was happening no matter who envoyed it. It actually works in their favour to try and control it by envoying it themselves.
Agree or disagree with the skill changes, it was a good point. Nothing Nienla presented as evidence supported the argument that Glom envoys are nerfing their own skills.

that's the entire use of Whisper. All it takes is CONCENTRATE. You don't need EQ or Balance to concentrate so far as I know.

That's not even the point of it, heh, in either hands, it's pretty broken.
Maybe if we weren't constantly envoy warring, then something would have been done earlier, but you should know by now how things work.
I mean even in this thread, you see Malarious, Shaddus, and co. insisting that certain whorable Seremagnalest moves are magically fine now or "it's not that bad lrn2cure lol". Everyone loves them double standards.
Merik2009-11-30 08:12:50
Ok, hat trick on missing the point there. Anyone else wanna have a go?

Choke curing /=/ learning to concentrate on an unmasked affliction line. That's apples and oranges.

I am fine with self nerfs, hell I came to caco and they had been majorly upgraded. Harbinger was still better imo (because I had double mana loss and could stack bleeding to thousands with no real way to keep it clotted off from what I saw. I rather have an active resource to kill than starvation which is curable). While in Glomdoring I was also able to handle alot of the skills people complain about, then again I was a bard so crucify chains were a joke. I hated trueheal and still do, do I think it needs a 1 a day limit? no. Should it maybe need something like a minimum of damage or stats damage (so you can cover mana loss) taken? Sure!
Honestly I am better versed than I once was, took some time, started over, etc etc. I dont even need to go off in a rage, I was smiling the whole I went over this thread, even replying.
Got nothing but love for people trying to make things better

Thanks to Viynain/Xiel for the use of his info.
So anyways, how is this broken again? The Mage uses 1 power to cause an affliction which.. doesn't require a herb, a vial, or balance. Only CONCENTRATE, which is easily aliased if needed, and triggered as well.

Great. Now that Malarious has inserted his name into an award-winning post of failure, and I've gotten my entertainment of the night by inciting three pages worth of defensive responses towards the slightest mention of a Whispers envoy, you may all whine on House of Shadows or Jhagar. Wherever you do your collective mass of whining and complaining.
For now, please apply the following to thread:

Yeah I totally see all those MD's aurawarp/succumbing then shield stunning in choke to keep you from leaving and curing. There was far more at play than just aurawarp/succumb and the point here was indeed that the argument being addressed was about 'biased envoys' and you trying to claim that succumb was suggested before the nerf so it was proof of no bias. My point in response was that the succumb nerf wasn't reported until it was actually posted that it would be moved. It doesn't matter if you say "oh but we all felt for a long time it should be changed" While you had it, you did nothing about it.
You are correct, though, I am well aware of the envoy war and how it is played. Remember I envoyed with yourself and othersin this thread and was party to the whole "nerf them before they nerf you" game. You can try and blow smoke up these other people's ass, but I know better.
@Merik As for you, you failboated around and road the glom easytrain to demi and now think you are one of the cool kids. Please don't come here expecting anyone to take you seriously as anything other than a troll.
