So anyways, how is this broken again? The Mage uses 1 power to cause an affliction which.. doesn't require a herb, a vial, or balance. Only CONCENTRATE, which is easily aliased if needed, and triggered as well.

The only real issue comes up if you whisper while they are off eq and concentrate is cancelled or eaten up. its entirely handleable but if they havent let system maker know of the issue they wont auto fix it.

Whisper is 'broken' given the right combination (read: Narsrim), just like Choke is broken with the right combination (read: Celina's shieldstun/panicking/choke+succumb+aurawarp), just like everything else is broken (read: group combat).

I'm still failing to see how they're comparable. You can outrift and eat earwort without eq. So... you can totally dodge a Deathsong even while being whispered. That's the difference. It doesn't delay/stop any curing (that isn't EQ dependent (Meaning sip/eat all you want!)), whereas - I'll use choke here because you mentioned it - Choke totally flips curing on its head, especially in a 2v1 situation.

Also, I think Azoth is using AG, which can be really diag dependent sometimes. It's a system problem, really. I'll use Treant as a counter - it cures Whisper fine.

This is true. Although during the last stretch of Titan, I alternated between hunting Astral and aetherbashing. Influencing made me 6 Transcendent skills, a 7-room aethership, and gold.
