Never been one for toeing the line. Being careful isn't nearly as much fun (to me).

Tried. Got CDF'd. People dislike confrontation, apparently. tongue.gif

And let's not forget that that it was fully in the roleplay of the Court to attempt to maintain order within the commune.

You can do all the conflict and confrontation you want, on a personal-level. If you decide to bring the matter to a more public forum, there will be consequences on your behavior. So don't give up on doing anything IC! If you want to cause strife, do it subversively. If no one knows, then you can't get in trouble. And I really don't think that Sadhyra would be the one who would turn down an interesting interaction if it is well thought out.

Anyway, Sadhyra and Nocht were really nice in this log, and I am glad that things are starting to pick up!

Makes me wonder how the Forest of No Mercy seems to show so much of it to those who wish to join.

Does cause some discontent with some dissenting Glomdorians.

stuff

See my last post above. And from your reaction when the event actually happened, your actions were fully because you were agitated on an OOC level.

I don't really think that randomly trying to PK me at the Nexus while I'm stuck with no guild skills is the most thought-provoking or impressive action you could have taken regarding the situation. There are plenty of other ways to go about getting what you want - look at how Sadhyra got you to apologize for earlier rudeness (even if only in vague words) through indirect action, by simply not inviting you to repeated a-bashes - that don't end up making you look like someone out for cheap PK and/or drama behind a "RP" excuse.

Yes, let's all adopt Sadhyra's personality. She knows exactly how to get what she wants. Azoth handles situations in a different manner and his emotions often get the best of him. Also, you didn't "not invite" me to aetherbashes; you made an explicit point of excluding me over CT every time I tried to join in. Nocht should have done a lot more to humble you but I can understand why he'd want to avoid involving himself in that way.

I personally think Nocht did fine in drawing the roleplay/admin limits line. While I wish he took the roleplay bit much further, I think I understand his position when it comes to player happiness/not feeling unfairly oppressed.

I can see that you're having issues with OOC/IC perspective on the issue, so I'll avoid agitating you further by replying.

Definitely a 'we only hurt the ones we love' moment, but still... Vicious!

Must remember to ask Nocht for help contriving creative fines/punishments.

That was my first thought too. The best part was Nocht's punishment insight.
