I'm not taking it hard, I merely disagree with you. It's sort of wrong RP wise, true. But since when do people care about RP except when it's convenient?
I say Estarra should limit people to three characters max. I could pick three characters and not worry about it unless I had to delete one to make another.

Yo. I haven't gone into the Czygani Wayfare once, despite wanting the dingbats, because Kialkarkea is afraid of clowns. No dingbats, no gold, no honours line.

Ok, here's a valid point. How does Kialkarkea know he's afraid of clowns if he's never been to the Wayfaire?

'cause he followed Bella into it once. Had her hands over her eyes the whole time after the first room. Hasn't been back since.

If it makes you feel better Caighan's been waiting for this for years and took himself off down there.

Fact: When you make a new character, they enter the portal the day they were created. Your character, according to the game, doesn't forget everything when they exit the portal. You can remember as much as you want to.

I'm upset that there's an influx of new characters that magically know exactly how to find Gaudiguch and who Scuchidira is. Alt Abuse anyone?
Scuchidira and Cririk have been shouting and posting for days, yah know.
Furien2009-12-22 17:37:20
You're upset because other people are wanting a slice of the spotlight and event too. I don't see how anyone can really deny it, I had some of it myself when monks first came out.
Eventru2009-12-22 17:43:57
Just drop it.

I can deny it based off of the fact that there have been several times whee I've just gotten up and walked away from the event. I can't even do anything about the event right now. I'm just being nitpicky because that's what I am.
In unrelated news, yay people coming and helping.

Re: Alt-ness
Try and sit back and enjoy it. You have someone to talk to and interact with. This is a good thing! You can even sit at your nexus without being spammed to death by guard influencing at the moment. So what if they're alts. To your character's mind, they're just random denizen-like people who wandered in out of the boondocks to join the restored city.
Instead of turtling up with the few old guard die hards, try getting them to stay. You're going to need more than just a small handful of people to really get an org off the ground anyway. You have a unique potential here to have fun with new characters coming in all at once, and really impact your organization's culture.
So, ask yourself, how do you want your new organization's atmosphere and culture to be? If you were just starting with the MUD, or even making a new alt for one of the new cities, ask yourself how you would really want it to feel. Then, do that.
Conversely, ask yourself, what would make you run for the hills. Don't do that.

I just thought of something cool...what's the new city art going to look like for Gaudiguch and Hallifax?

And, because it was amusing to me:
namegen dracnari female
Akuiacho
Akuisaki
Akuko
Looks like "Aku" is a common syllable.

People influencing things wrong and getting in the way makes me a very irritated Kial.
Hazar2009-12-22 21:07:43
Gee, I'm beginning to think you're emotionally invested in this.
Rika2009-12-22 21:29:03
I'm actually getting annoyed at the people who are trying to get Cririk/Scuchi to help every single time waiting is involved. Have some patience people! Que sera, sera.
Jalain2009-12-22 21:49:17
I'm hoping that what I push for in Serenwilde as far as laws go will be the law for Gaudiguch, since things are so laidback there.. If it harms the city/citizenry, it's a crime. That's the only damn law you need, damn it!
Hazar2009-12-22 21:54:44
...so, what are aeromancers and pyromancers going to get in place of EvenBlade/RedMasque?
Jalain2009-12-22 21:57:12
Wait and see. Won't be more than a week before someone has transed all the skills.
Hazar2009-12-22 21:57:38
Wow, that hadn't occured to me! Thanks!
