Apply health to head?

Sorry, that might have came across as sarcastic, and it certainly wasn't meant to be. The mobs were designed that one only needed a health vial to kill them. (Unless someone changed it so health->head doesn't cure blindness anymore....)

Augh.

In all fairness, the help file doesn't say that doing that cures blindness.

(Also I can't get Treant to not-eat-myrtle, but that's my own fault)

EDIT: And for some reason I would swear it wasn't working the last time I ran out of myrtle, but bleh. In any case, I'm glad I won't be spending all the gold on myrtle.

EDIT EDIT: HEALTH: (apply) heals deep wounds, numbed bodyparts <--- what HELP AFFLICTIONS says.
Gleip2009-12-31 17:28:30
You can use PAUSE to temporarily stop Treant from doing any actual curing.

Just remember to UNPAUSE afterwards.

Faeleaf also cures blindness, and I would suggest that you switch Treant to eat Faeleaf instead of Myrtle for blindness-curing. Faeleaf is far, far, far more abundant. And does not run through your health vial or use up health balance.

Often, but not always! If your org is in such a state where all of their herbalists will get jumped as soon as they set foot on ethereal, myrtle might be a -slightly- better option.

Health to head is obviously best if you don't actually need to sip health.

Even in that case, I'm pretty sure your herbalists can sneak in and gather up enough faeleaf for it to be a better option than myrtle! There are so many more rooms for faeleaf to grow. Further, it's not munched as heavily as myrtle, so the demand is less, meaning less competition to get it from other herbalists. (I think Treant contributes a huge amount to this issue, though. It must be a plot to exacerbate the price of myrtle!)

I haven't had too much of a problem finding herbs (knock on wood), it's just been a pain to have Aoife eating piles of the stuff just to get spheres. I'll probably still switch it over, though.
Rodngar2009-12-31 18:32:29
I see no reason for such a long and complicated quest, even for the sake of the 'flavor' of intelligence attached to Hallifax's lore. I think the spheres should just be converted in to airy essence themselves now and be allowed to be put in the Matrix. :/

Clearly you can tell which one of us has any patience.

On a semi-related note, are all of the Hallifaxian power-related critters (spheres, stalkers, carrion, stormeaters) supposed to be able to shield/pentagram?
Eventru2009-12-31 18:55:37
At a glance Magnagora's do, so I don't see why those shouldn't.

Maybe I'm misremembering - I don't recall the starsuckers and dream leeches having it.

Thanks!
Eventru2009-12-31 19:13:21
Hm, looking further, joules should, but elemental critters shouldn't. Hogs did, but cloud carrion didn't, so I'll peak at the others and set them appropriately.
Genos2009-12-31 20:21:56
Thanks for fixing the Sphere quest to give a reward... did you fix the empowering the hedrons quest to give rewards too? I bugged it a couple days ago.
Rika2009-12-31 20:27:49
To be honest, I think the sphere quest is pretty easy and enjoyable. Yes, it does get frustrating when you get really unlucky (like I've had alabaster and columbine as my first spheres on one run) but I think that is countered by the fact that it gives twice as much power as any other power quest.

I wish I could merge black spheres to make super emo black, for when I get a combo of ecru, chartreuse, saffron.

Manach led the Sacred Guardian of Gaudiguch to the Eternal Flame, there to make its
home. This provoked more celebrations and revelries, and the business of
gathering power waned once more.

It wasn't Manach! It was me! Manach got the honours line cause of a bug when he was supposed to lead Drach to the Mu Lab. crying.gif

Could the mandalas in the grid either

A ) be a count such as "10 beautiful mandalas of amethyst, cerulean, lavender and heliotrope coloured crystals float above the sculpture here."

or

B ) When a complete round is done one mandala disappears from each sculpture.

Mainly cause "A beautiful mandala of amethyst, cerulean, lavender and heliotrope coloured crystals floats above the sculpture here. A beautiful mandala of amethyst, cerulean, lavender and heliotrope coloured crystals floats above the sculpture here. Because I don't remember: are we supposed to only be able to hear novice channels from the manifestation aetherbubble?
Unknown2010-01-01 20:23:18
Pretty sure that CGT and GNT are usable from anywhere, aetherspace included.

I should have been more clear. I meant, should I be unable to hear CT or GT from the manifestation aetherbubble?
