Xenthos2009-12-21 03:55:27
Hey, can we do something about giving a secondary affliction line now that there are going to be even more lines to trigger?
More lines != streamlining!

Hate to have two 's in a row, but it bears asking...
Where's Ackleberry?
Where's Ackleberry?

What stops established cities from beginning conquests?
If you mean that other orgs decide to beat up on the new cities and they can't handle it, we'll play it by ear. I wouldn't be adverse to giving them *temporary* defenses if it turns into a griefing nightmare. But our playerbase wouldn't do that, right? Right?

A small question that the announce doesn't answer, perhaps you should repost another addressing it. What about ministerial positions? Will they be filled?
Speak to the Governors!

Hey, it happened to Glom.
But yes, about the secondary afflict lines now that there are going to be even more lines to trigger... please? :/

I know you want to keep things under control and not-crazy, but I don't approve of the Admin Appointed despots.

Maybe Celest would...

Dude. Hallifax is a communist state, and Gaudiguch are long-tailed hippies.

I believe Charune is still working on that.

Ohh. It's being done? Awesome.

The plan is for the cities to raise 200k power. When they have that
much, and if they are willing, they must pay 100k power to release the
next guild. The choice will be between a guardian and warrior guild.
Those will be the next guilds we work to release (it may not happen
instaneously). For the next guild, the same procedure follows. After the
guardian and warrior guild are released we may or may not begin work on
a bard and monk guild. We will assess at the time whether or not we have
the playerbase to support it.

I know you hate giving timeframes, but do you have a rough sense of the turnaround between power investment and completion? Like, if we were to move characters into one of those orgs with the intent of speeding the power generation, will that be a waste of effort since you've pinned the coding completion time to roughly how long you think it'll take the orgs to generate the power?

I think that we'd want at least a two month leeway for the next guild (end of February), assuming the cities can raise that much power by then.
The time will fly by, believe me!

Can't decide....join Pyros...or wait for Illumnati...
Xavius2009-12-21 04:09:42
Oh, and spec races for Hallifax: lucidian only, trill/lucidian based on guild, not going to happen, not going to happen until all three guilds are out?
Rodngar2009-12-21 04:11:36
I am considering a move to the Aeromancers simple because I've always wanted to try a Mage class in Lusternia but the task has looked too daunting.
EDIT: I mean that PK-wise.

I gotta ask, was the Rebirth of the Glomdoring this big of an event? Even back when I played 3 and a half years ago, I just BARELY missed the Glomdoring. My neighbor filled me in all about it, though!
