You wouldn't need to, if you didn't have a description for a particular race then you could just appear the same or without a description.

I have a file somewhere with a few different descriptions for Saran as certain races but it would be infinitely more useful to have this as part of the game especially with the current "I can't find that file so I need to start again" issue that can pop up.
