See this'd require some of us caring what any other players want. I don't spend money on this game to care about how you want to play
I play by following the guidelines set in an ooc/ic fashion..players only decide this to an IC extent. Gaudi is building itself, and can't go at any faster of a speed then it is already. Me sitting on my hands all day is a waste of time for me..Course the admins aren't going to let us pummel them, but they aren't going to say 'Stop pvp.' after giving us all these new skills
It's not a concept at all, it's a choice. If it irritates you, go play another IRE game.

And that is an unfortunate problem with both games and reality. No one giving a about the other person. Of course I'm unsurprised that you feel this way. It's a general thought of all griefers, because if you did take a small amount to care about others then you wouldn't be classified as a "griefer."

I thought it was pretty obvious that things were heading to Mag/Gaudi vs. Halli/Glom. Celest and Seren are nonentities now and will probably sit by the sidelines unless it's Glom-territory-related. Then they will field a mighty 1-2 person each for The Cause.
That is so wrong. Sometimes, there's three people around capable of doing something.

On the note of griefing. I'd be a griefer only if people were being griefed. Noone is losing anything by our raids, since it's a choice to come up and fight us. So take your self righteous crap and gtfo

I suppose it's also their choice to get jumped by you and two of your pals while exploring, hunting for essence or empowering polyhedrons? Or are you just demonstrating Gaudiguch's opposition to reason and logic to all of us?

You said the same thing the other day, implying that it's a choice to come defend. For people who care about their org (which is hopefully the majority in a new org that people are trying to build up) there really isn't much choice. From an IC perspective, it is an imperative to at least try to force enemies out of your home base. You said in an earlier post that no one is telling them they have to defend... in the game, the mobs screaming OMG SAVE ME on channels, the stray lowbies who get caught unawares when the raid starts, and the people who acknowledge these things on org channels are saying exactly that.
From an OOC perspective, it's one thing to look at the odds and make the IC-justification, "Okay guys, we're just outmatched today, we have to bite the bullet and let them have their run," but that has to be the exception, not the rule. Having no one defend, everyone indifferent, etc. is the sign of an unhealthy org... not something we should be encouraging. The successful working of player-run orgs hinges on the fact that people care enough to bother.
There aren't a ton of people in Hallifax that are just giving up because of constant conflict at this point, but we know full well that after a prolonged time that does happen in any org. It's also fair to say that there are obviously some people who could use a break. Keeping this in mind and acting accordingly is what keeps you from being a griefer... you're in a multiplayer game, so some consideration for others at an ooc level is appropriate.

I would like to hijack this argument and submit a humble request that if Gaudiguch ever gets monks, they're single-wielding knife fighters. Along with having a Sandworm mount.

Why use knives, when you can use broken beer bottles?
