Hallifax is really good at keeping secrets though. We have absolutely no clue what the Researchers would do. We don't even have a guild name for them.
All we have are some shapes and platonic solids to deal with, and a picture of a Trill.

Officially it's the Matrix Research Intitute, it might have something else like officially the Aeromancers guild is the Center for Aeromantic Engineering or the Moondancers would be the Moon Coven.
Personally I prefer those names to the * guild, makes things different.
