In what little time I have to pop in I've been trying to figure out the plane of Vortex and how it relates to the general concept of Chaos (assuming we're dealing with Order and Chaos regarding the cities). I expected the Continuum to be what it is, but Vortex doesn't fit what I would have considered "Chaos". I wonder where the inspiration comes for that.

The Vortex Falls.
Throughout the location, small dancing flames flicker and spark. The Vortex Falls crash down from above here in an endless cascade of half-congealed, flesh-tone liquid, occasionally spewing gooey globs of half-formed skin and flesh which slap audibly against the flesh-formed body of the cliff. Ripped malformed skin, organs, flesh and miscellaneous, clear fluid line the walkway, carved mercilessly away from the natural flesh that makes the Vortex, leading up and down the Falls. Grotesque, unnatural flora and fauna wreathed from skin sprout happily in random places along the flesh, adding a sense of life to this bizarre environ. Flush against the wall is a valve that breathes in and out.

Built about a mass of malleable tissue, the hekoskeri is a hideous aberration, little more than a tangle of flailing arms, hands and eyeballs. The arms themselves are decidedly humanoid, ending in hands that possess five digits each, each distinct from its neighbors. No single gender is represented upon the hekoskeri, its limbs always shifting through the broad spectrum of male and female with many decidedly indistinguishable from both. Between the shoulder joints of the many limbs great eyes stare out, some more humanoid than others - irises from all spectrums of colour, some even a metallic gold or silver. Each of the hands take turns holding the body aloft, the rest twisting and grabbing at anything nearby, their nailless fingers clenching and unclenching.

Really I see Vortex/Continuum as the opposition of Organic vs Static. Or Chemistry/Biology vs Physics/Pure Math.

If you want to look at it theoretically I guess, chemical interactions are in part, driven by thermodynamic principles including things like Brownian motion (essentially stochastic movement). We model chemical interactions in terms of 'random collisions' usually when doing kinetics. These random chemical interactions eventually gave way to self assembling chemicals like nucleotides, lipids and peptides the precursors for life, in an aqueous environment. Life continues to evolve/mutate and blamo! Vortex.

Continuum is essentially a bunch of static Platonic Solids running around. I'd love to see a Metatron's Cube or a convex regular polytope as Continuum's supernal. Also a Klein bottle would be cool.

Sapphire Company lobby.
Banks of clouds roil about here. A long ramp composed of a single sheet of
sapphire begins at the south edge of the room and sweeps gracefully over each of
the arched entryways into the tower before vanishing though a hole in the
ceiling. Across from the start of the ramp sits a curved desk of turquoise with
a sapphire top. A statue of a vase of some sort rests in the centre of the room,
its sapphire neck gleaming as the light hits it until curving into and through
itself to form a single contiguous surface from inside to outside.
You see exits leading northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and up.

On the topic of Gaudiguch and Hallifax's polarity/conflict - I have taken a liking to thinking it was Wisdom vs. Intelligence as well other aforementioned topics.

Wisdom can also just mean a much more simple route of knowledge, things learned through experience of new events and common sense as opposed to hard study and controlled experiments. I don't know, it's sort of hard to explain. A sort of "I don't need to study - everything I need to know, I'll learn through living life".. and then of course all that time otherwise spent studying is used for binge drinking, wet t-shirt contests, and other rowdy display.
