Every time stat packs are mentioned they are violently shot down. That specialized Merian suck means that specialized Merian need to be looked at, not that stat packs need to be introduced.
In my personal opinion, all of the races need to be looked at, because at least half of them are useless or at least close to it.
I thought forging was more, "this is excessively complicated under the hood, and we don't feel like messing with it", rather then "no we don't want to do that."
Purely an aesthetic idea here. I don't know how many other players can say this, but I am never going to reincarnate. For that reason I would like the option to renounce my free reincarnation. It's been sitting there in my STAT for the last two years like a fifth wheel, it needs to go.

Try reincarnating into what you already are and see what happens.

How about allowing any enchantment to be pointed at someone to confer its effect? For example, 'point deathsight at X'. Easier than removing the ring and handing it over, especially if you've both got selfishness up.

The only instances I could remember for such a big overhaul were for things which were just mechanically a nightmare (monk ruptures, forging, weakenings, aetherspace) and for a majority of those, they got converted as opposed to outright deletion. I personally quite like Affinity, but until things just reach a point of being nothing but problem filled, I don't think it'd get booted out.
But, that reaches past the point of the thread. I still want my teapots, please.
