A dog-type furrikin with a dog mount might be the singularity of cute. Probably why it's not allowed.

Don't forget with a golden retriever tracking dog!

Bear cavalry. That is all.

Nothing like having a cat. tongue.gif

Indeed.

Cats are obviously superior.

We already have that. In theory. In actuality, there are no Tae'Daes.

I submit to you this mental image: Ferret-kin in master-plate with a lance and a banner riding a Pomeranian mount and a fox companion.

New templates for artisans!

SCULPTURES - Normal Furnishing
The generic 'a statue of is here' is quite limiting to our creativity. Please allow us to prettify our homes and use up some of the ridiculous marble/coal/other reserves that build up.

BUSTS - Wall Furnishing
Together, a sconce and tapestry take up only 35% of available wall-space, and who really is going to have more than one of each... Displaying busts would allow us to commemorate famous family members, Gods, other things with heads.

Yes, this can be gotten around by describing such in the room description of a manse, but you then end up with huge room descriptions.

Please consider it. Thank you!

While I love the new illusions command checker thingy, could the locations of the illusions be added? Especially since I tend to drop a lot of illusory terrains when melding, and not knowing which is where is annoying.

I think he wants more customizable statues, as an Artisan furniture item rather than an Arts item.

P.S. I'm all for allowing more creative expression in statues, but I'd prefer there to be a way for both paintings and statues to be fully customizable in Arts, without Charite oversight or workarounds. Barring that, Artisan sculptures would be great.

Daraius has it right, it's the fact that they're limited to being of things you can sketch, which is ok, but rules out more abstract or creative sculptures.
Llandros2011-02-25 23:21:07
oh, ok I see now. There is a much easier solution. I know you can make landscapes of anything by redoing the description of an empty room in a manse. If statues are allowed to be made from items then by using glamours you could get a statue of anything you want.
Ssaliss2011-02-25 23:23:31
Assuming sketching takes the glamored desc, and not the base desc. Interesting idea though; someone test it?
Ushaara2011-02-25 23:39:53
No glamours in Hallifax yet, also are they permanent? Anyway sculptures seem like the sort of things artisans would be able to craft anyway.
Ssaliss2011-02-25 23:46:11
Glamours aren't permanent, no. Not sure how long they last, but I'd guess maybe 10'ish minutes?

Then go, go, artisan sculptures!
Ileein2011-02-25 23:52:10
They also don't affect the verbose (probed) desc of items, I believe.

Much like PK CAREFUL is an optional setting, how about allowing something for following into enemy territory? Something like 'Territory watch' on/off - put it on to disallow travel by following into territories for which you hold status, turn it off to follow regardless of your status in any such territory.

Dingbat dolls should be useable as miniatures. Raziela has defeated Luciphage, FATALITY.

Healing for Cantors? Would be great thematically I think, not sure how it would work out balance wise.

Maybe it could replace illusions? Having a song effect that blinds people doesn't provided for a lot of synergy in that area, though I could be mistaken.

We made a big push to get bards Healing as a third tertiary a while ago, and Estarra said no. What we still don't know is if we're ever going to get another tertiary or not; as things stands, bard guilds have the smallest number of possible builds (tied with monks) but we don't know if that's because we haven't seen all of Estarra's vision yet, or if it's just her plan that some guilds get as many as 12 builds and some get as few as 2.
