I seem to recall that what warriors got when they did FLEX was even cooler, wasn't it?

Yes. But now I can't show off my muscles. How will I be sexy?

QUOTE
You flex your muscles, which bulge and pop in a spectacular display of your outstanding physique.

You used to be able to do this at any time. However, if you already have the defence, you get this instead now.

QUOTE
You're already as strong as you can be.

And you can't use the regular emote either. It'd probably be nice if they at least used different syntaxes.

Make it so you can do more than diagnose while spectating. Like, maybe assess as well.

It'd be simpler to just make it so if you have the defense, you get the emote instead of an error message. That's the way a few other overloaded commands work. I'll idea it.

Pretty sure you can usually see that with ES already.
Esano2011-03-12 07:53:03
Assess shows wounds, and ES only works for group events (FFAs, wargames).
Unknown2011-03-12 11:52:03
Why not bring that further and allow people to join duels/FFAs/Wargames as spectators? Maybe let it be available by default for group events, but for duels, the pereson challenging can choose to allow others to watch them.

I seem to remember that long ago there was a more involved spectating code in place but it was spammy and lag inducing so they axed it.
Unknown2011-03-12 20:50:42
The old code was bad because it basically transferred what one person saw in the arena to anyone spectating him/her. If you just allowed people to walk around the arena as ghosts, it would not be much different from any other fight. It's an interesting idea, definitely, but not as simple to code as it sounds, I'm sure.

With a whole bunch of letters in my inventory now, it'd be really nice to be able to title letters so that you don't go around probing each one all the time.

BACKSTAGE LOOK

Exactly like STAGE LOOK, but for directors and actors backstage.
Lendren2011-03-17 17:17:58
BS STATUS generally tells you what you need to know about what's on the stage at the moment.

I know we have normal sit and lounge, but can we have something for those of us girls who want to be graceful?

gracefulsit on (couch/bench)

Carefully whisking your skirt out of the way, you perch yourself on the edge of an archaic wrought iron couch and daintly tuck one foot behind the other.

You knooww.. Like this kinda sitting

Who wears skirts? Nearly everyone wears a robe 99% of the time.

BACKSTAGE UNDO

Erases the last line performed during a recording, allowing for a do-over if you catch a mistake.

While that would be wonderful, that's not how theater works. The "you have to either get it right, or improvise around the mistakes so the audience doesn't realize" thing is part of the design because that's what performance is.
Daraius2011-03-21 14:22:35
That's kind of silly. I was under the impression that Lusternia is a fantasy game, not a life simulator.
Lendren2011-03-21 14:31:03
It's a FPS, actually. You're just making the cutscenes.
