Researchers don't have an actual entourage. Crystals don't get ordered to do things, they use a wholly different syntax and approach.

Illuminati are fine with using ORDER ENTOURAGE KILL. All of our ents that don't attack just ignore the command.

So do Wiccans, it's just when you only want certain fae to follow and things like Willowisp that are a pain.

ORDER ENTOURAGE SUMMON works, though.

What if when high- and truefavors expire, they give some percentage of the experience earned while under the influence of one of them? I don't know if that could be abused or if it would be undesirable for some reason, but it seems like it would be further incentive to hunt and influence and so on while you have a favor.

Truefavours already do this, I believe.

Edit: It's actually Highfavours and up that do this, so I was right, but not completely so! HELP FAVOURS says this: " - Gives xp or takes away some xp when it ends." for Highfavor, with he taking away being for high disfavors.

I believe Daraius' idea is meant to change the -amount- of XP gained from a favour. As-is, they seem to give a pretty flat (and small) amount. Instead, the proposal is to make them give XP proportional to the XP gained by the person for the duration of the favour.
Enyalida2011-05-06 07:34:38
The only thing to mention there is, "Yay! An aetherbashing exp boost, woot! Double xp weekend, with golden lips for maxium xp!"

I'm satisfied with what the current truefavour does. smile.gif

Yes, that's what I meant.

Idea: Allow orgbixes to work from their corresponding Nexus World.

If they want to incentivize hunting and influencing, they can start by making it fun.

They should let us afflict mobs and them give them all first aid. Totally, I'd spend hours just trying to thornrend cave fishers.
Aerotan2011-05-08 04:48:02
ToP is trying that, to my understanding, but they can only do it because it's built in at the base level.

Yes please. Adding an exit to it would be stellar, but just having it work from there would be dandy.

I'd considered adding that to my post, but as far as I know all Nexus Worlds are accessed from, well, the Nexus, which already have exits from the orgbix room. Not that I'm against the idea!

But that takes balance. tongue.gif I got so lazy when I had my Flame, I'd routinely bix to Ethereal instead of transversing because of the balance cost.

I do the same thing.

It seems a lot shorter balance cost than traversing though, at least.

(70% of the use of my Mandala is to help navigate Air because censor.gif the bloody airstream.)

Entering and leaving the Nexus world doesn't take balance. I know that before I had my Belt, I returned to Prime from the Elemental plane as a Guardian by entering the Nexus World and then exiting it immediately instead of transversing two planes.

Entering the Nexus World doesn't, for Hallifax at least. Leaving definitely does, though:

You kneel and raise your hands and then sink low to the ground before the Matrix Core, dealing
obeisance.
Your body is thrown off balance.
You get broken down into energy, your consciousness fading away. As it returns, you are standing
before the Matrix within the City of Hallifax.
