Hrm, maybe leaving does, I've not done that for quite a long while. But entering definitely doesn't.
EDIT: Oh doh, you already mentioned that. Silly me.

Leaving and Entering takes balance for going to the Pool Nexus world.
Sylphas2011-05-08 08:16:40
It doesn't require balance, though, if I remember correctly. To leave, at least.
Kiradawea2011-05-08 09:46:50
Leaving a nexusworld doesn't require balance no, because emotes doesn't require balance.
I know. It'd be totally fun to toss meteors at mobs instead of pew-pewing them with an oversized gun. At the very least I'd like mobs with clever offense and more than just "I kill you with damage now". As that means it's either scratch damage for yawn or you go horribly splat for daring to be druid/guardian/merian/furrikin.

They should let us afflict mobs and them give them all first aid. Totally, I'd spend hours just trying to thornrend cave fishers.

Apparently the balance costs for nexus world travel are inconsistent. Nerf... someone!
(To muddy the muddy water, there are multiple points to enter/exit Hallifax's, and some take balance, and some do not.)

A 'relationship' system with pets, where the better you take care of one(taking them hunting, feeding them before certain hunger levels, feeding them certain types of food depending on the species, bringing them out of the stable, obviously not letting them die) the better they'll interact with you, and the harder they'll work.
This would reset if the owner transfers the pet to someone else. Benefits could be a small boost to influencing or maybe a better chance your pet will bodyguard automatically.

I'm pretty "meh" towards this idea overall, especially since you already have to invest so many dang lessons to be able to get your beast do things like bodyguard, and then train it besides. Feed types are also already used to influence lots of things, so assigning one to a certain species would be more of a hindrance than anything, not to mention what would you do in the case of a custom beast. It just feels like it would make beastmastery more annoying, rather than more interesting.

Yeah, I forgot about trains. Maybe it could be something like a favorite food type. So whatever you feed it on a regular basis will become its favorite, giving more 'love' than other feeds.
The benefits could be inherently shallow, like emote interaction, possibly a small stat boost?
With custom pets, their love would already be fixed at maximum - just like how attaching a rune to an instrument brings it to maestro level.

Idea: Add a header along the lines of "You see the following items here:" to the IH command.

Tattoos Idea: Change Gut to Belly? 'Gut' just has me thinking of something that's morbidly obese... or like a beer guzzler a la Homer Simpson. A gut hanging out on a woman, just isn't a pleasant mental image.

Funny, I have the exact opposite reaction. To me, a gut could either be protruding or lean, as opposed to belly which is just round to me.

Perhaps.. but what sounds better/ more attractive: Belly Dancing or Gut Dancing? Belly Button Piercing or Gut.. Button Piercing... A cute baby belly.. or a... cute baby gut?
'You examine the tattoo of a soaring silver aerial on Inara's gut' or 'You examine the tattoo of a soaring silver aerial on Inara's belly'?
'Tattoos on the gut can be quite sensual.' or 'Tattoos on the belly can be quite sensual.'

Stomach would be a good alternative too, I think.

It's Gut because it's always been Gut in everything else since day one, e.g., WOUNDS.

Make it so you don't lose all your defences when you die in the arena? It's a waste putting them up over and over agian...
Thanks!
Thanks!
