Oh yeah. I've never gotten a favor that wasn't pointed at a big group, and as a result, I switched to offering to a dead god for personal reasons. And for karma.

EDIT: and yes, I would feel a closer RP tie to someone who recognized my input and work and decided to show that they find it favorable, instead of "Yep, you are part of xyz org or group, I guess I should favor you as well, because."

If divine already do favour groups of people, as you've already said, then there's no change aside from a mechanics one that lets them do 'favour org' instead of favour person1;favour person2;favour person3;etc.

Also, there's nothing stopping the divine from just giving you a longer/better favour from your added devotion. It's not like this suggestion is saying 'DELETE ALL SINGLE FAVOURS'.

I think I've been favored by my own God once for offering. That's ok, though, orders are just for shrine powers anyway.

They still respond to you even if you no longer HAVE the orgbix. Which is really kind of a kick in the balls when I walk by an avatar and they're all "Hey, what's up dae'Seren?" and I fondly remember the time before a stupid bug ate my orgbix.
