Should combine combat and Resilience
Ssaliss2012-01-01 12:58:49
I suggested this back when the liquid rift was first added, but not sure if it fell by the wayside or if there were complications or something, so here it is again:

Make GMCP announce changes to the liquid rift, just as it does with the normal rift.
Rivius2012-01-02 03:57:11
It would be nice for artifact vials, definitely. It's hard to keep a count on those.
Iosai2012-01-02 12:12:01
It's already been implemented. :P
Ssaliss2012-01-02 12:44:35
Ooh, nice. A small note though: The liquids don't appear when you request the rift contents, only when the value changes.
Rivius2012-01-02 16:59:07
Iosai:

It's already been implemented. :P

-boggle- How did I miss this?

Allow shops to set Buy-Orders on things like riftables and esteem?
Ssaliss2012-01-02 17:44:38
Rivius:

-boggle- How did I miss this?

I think it was sneakilly introduced under "o All rift changes will now be reported through GMCP.".

COMBATRING STATUS could show months left on figurines, there is room for it at the end!
Eritheyl2012-01-05 04:22:51
I've IDEA'd that before, with no result. That's what got me started on pasting things up here, instead :P

But yes, that should be implemented!

Now that the weather is out we have that idea that got denied before...

Treebourne? Like mages have for their environ, druids become immune to wind while in trees?

GRID POLARITY
Power: 10
At the cost of a long balance and a fair bit of willpower (say, 1k-2k), all slivvens on the ship are instantly killed. The power and willpower cost should mean it's not used as the first line of defense, but it's useful for those cases when you're completely swarmed by slivvens and chased by five dragons.
Ssaliss2012-01-05 14:50:13
Oh, and also: GRID DISLODGE . Forcibly unlocks them from their module.
Razenth2012-01-05 18:40:43
In that case you should use resonance and not waste 10p on a slivven cure. It's not going to stop the five dragons or repair the damage they caused. I agree with sentiment of the skill, but not the example provided.
Ssaliss2012-01-05 19:10:29
Well, yeah, the example was picked out of thin air :P Might not have been the best of examples in hindsight.

I am not one for doing quests for finding out lore, but I would still love to read it. My RL prevents me from going to people and asking for help on such things.

So what I would like is either a newsboard that as all things lore (from histroy, quests, events). Or that the Library have all of the lore of the history and areas and such. And it not be in Divine, but rather in common so I can read it without needing to find a bookbinder to translate.

Maybe some fail safe for if one disconnects with a bunch of influenced fae (for glom/seren) or whatever it is for the other cities to not drop or to be recoverable to the one who successfully influenced them?

Dropping 3 of all but the flying fae to have my internet suddenly die and finding out my work was wasted makes me a sad panda :( Not sure if this is simple or not but the idea is simple sooo
Talan2012-01-06 06:34:55
:lack of hug emoticon:
Losing armfuls of fae for whatever reason is something of a rite of passage for the wicca/commune people. It's one of the reasons we keep spores into the ethereal forests, to encourage multiple, smaller trips. I guess maybe it would be cool if you could beckon to them after they've been influenced, in the same way you can do this with some quest mobs to get them to re-follow you.

The mere thought of denying future players this angst, however, makes me want to tell you how in my day we had to whittle scarabs out of our own athame handles and walk all the way to the Tolborolla rift (uphill, through the snow) just to bind fae only to get jumped on the way home and watch as a soul as all 27 fae tumbled to the ground with our lifeless corpse. Whippersnapper.

The address and port used to connect, if you don't want to use the flash client, are disturbingly difficult to find on the website. I had to go to the old site to find it.

It really should still be shown somewhere on that first page.
Unknown2012-01-06 17:01:11
you can just use Lusternia.com as the address but yes the port should probably be made easier to find.
