Change the Eternal Flame's noun from Flame to Eternalflame. That way when I try and put essence it, I don't have to check the number to avoid sticking my essence in a flame hog.

BODYSCAN ARMOUR

The brief version should list your total armour value, wound reduction, and damage reduction from it. Full breaks it down fully.

I think it would be helpful because
1) It would tell us what armour is really doing for us.
2) Some skills factor into what armour helps with (like elasticity, which would be damage reduction but not real armour?)
3) Some skills will give the benefit of armour and stack, psiarmour reduces wounds for instance, so it would show up here (trueshield, kata deflect would also be here).

Would be nice :)

Unfortunately, I don't think it's that easy. AFAIK, the damage reduction depends on the attack, rather than being a flat percentage.

Yeah, that's what they've said in the past. There is no easy way to explain or understand how the weapons/armor code works because it depends on the attack, your stats, their stats, the weapon's stats, the armor's stats, and probably some rng.

I don't actually think there is a RNG in there, since the same attack from the same person always tends to do the same damage.

As a rule armour should always eval to something though.

That is... if 4 strength does say 10% more damage and wounds, that brings a total to something, armour should still come into effect as per normal I would think.

BTW, bodyscan should show by AREA, because skills like trueshield/defelect work on an arm and some areas.

Right now, Auronispheres are useless except for trading, where they sell for 25k gold. I suggest bringing some use back to them. I was told they work like powerstones, but completely ineffectual ones; only holding 100% power. By bumping them up to 1500%-2000%, they would be more in line, cost-wise, with powerstones. Given the amount of work needed to make Auronispheres (and the fact that my proposed power means 12.5-16.6 gold per percentage, which would put powerstones at 1250-1666 gold per for the same cost), I don't think this will impact the powerstone market much, but would be handy for communes and cities for sculpting totems and enchanting statues.

A way to include the shortdesc of items in freeform emotes like "emote ", such as:

Bob stumbles around drunkenly waving a frosted crystal champagne flute in the air and belching loudly.


As well as the ability to append speech to emotes, rather than just preferatory says, such as "emote "

Bob sticks his finger in his ear, twisting it while staring at you dumbly, "Whazzat? I wasn't paying any attention."

You can already do that though. "emote Kialkarkea shakes a fiery basalt staff at ^phantasmalkiller and loudly proclaims "This is already supported in existing emoting!", before wandering out of the thread with an irritatingly smug look on his face."

Someone totally missed the point. You can sculpt a statue with a sharp stick, but you're far better off with a chisel.

Add a line at the bottom when you probe a weapon that says "This weapon is a masterpiece of forging" if it's a masterweapon. Sure, you can tell by the stats, but that means you'd have to first know what the stats of a masterweapon is, which... well, not everyone knows. And by not everyone, I mean all newbies and (seemingly) most older players.

The way I see it is that arenas can be joined from anywhere, whereas vengeance games must be joined from the preparation-room. A better comparison would be duels, which, as far as I know, don't have perms; anyone can duel in an arena, enemy or not, no?
