A quest that could be done to charge the astral nodes. Most of them are still pounded to crap since before ascension. Even if it is just one node at a time. Without even going in to what ascension does to the plane, there are a few nodes that are routinely drained to dregs anyway. It would be nice to be able to bash these.

Agree. Especially since some people have very few sphere choices they can bash at all without a penalty, being able to actively replenish nodes in some fashion, with effort, would be nice. It was less of an issue before when we had a choice of 12 spheres, but now in some cases it's down to 2-3, which makes the popular nodes' being drained a lot more irritating.

Since it was made possible for cities/communes to buy upgrades to stockroom size, perhaps the upgrades to stockroom shoprift capacity, and stockroom bins, can also be made available to city/commune/guild-tutor shops the same way.

Could just make it that placing creatures from that sphere into the node recharge it by 2(or whatever number)

Drain node and mobs spawn, kill mobs and shove them back in, node recharged. <_<

Make a taunts channel. So people can use market for what it's actually intended for.
Ssaliss2012-03-01 11:17:30
A new itemlist for curios!
Qistrel2012-03-01 13:17:00
You just type CURIOS.
Ssaliss2012-03-01 14:27:31
... Oh. That's pretty much what I was after, yes!
Although adding in a link to it from ITEMLIST wouldn't be amiss either.

Add a Deathsight for FinalSting. The hardest insta to pull off should at least show it was used rather than just being a crotamine death.

Artisan idea: Cages. Capture an animal from the outside and put it inside the cage. You can feed these animals the different kinds of feed to keep them alive. Open up your own zoo.
But I want to make bird cages.

a secondary market where players can sell gold for usd, where IRE can tax some of the money that goes in and out. It would be sanctioned, give some people extra income, and IRE would profit as well.
Ssaliss2012-03-04 15:33:58
lolno to that idea.

Yeah, there are some legal issues with that...
Ssaliss2012-03-04 16:37:52
Also, I think the game can do without bots bashing for gold. The argument can be done that they already exist to some degree, but this would just make it ten times worse.
Unknown2012-03-04 19:24:13
Isn't the credit market supposed to take care of that sort of thing?

One I've been thinking about, and I can't see any downsides about it:
Since the introduction of the liquidrift, we've mostly gone from counting vials of potions/salves to sips of potions/salves, even though some (mostly people that use poisons, if not exclusively) still use vials in some situations. However, in shops and on keglist, it still lists the contents of kegs as fills, not sips. Making those display sips instead of fills would make things more transparent for both shoppers and shopkeepers.
In addition to this, currently you get 60 sips out of an alembic if you fill a vial or the liquid rift, but only 50 if you fill a keg (if you are transcendent, that is). Adjusting the filling of kegs to also receive 60 sips would make some sense to me.

Back when we were talking about limiting shop stock rooms, there was the idea that enchantments can be written on a paper, and attached to any appropriate item. Can this idea come to life? And taking this a step further, if it can be riftable as well, that would be amazing.
Enyalida2012-03-06 16:09:36
It's been suggested (and Envoyed) so many times over the years. I'm am still rooting for the idea.
Naia2012-03-06 16:14:53
Fills vs sips still confuses the heck out of me when searching shops.
