The problem with showing sips instead of "refills" is that then you have potential confusion over how much a single sip costs, or pricing. If you price per sip, you have a huge limitation on granularity. Either a sip costs 2gp (100gp per refill), or 3gp (150gp per refill), or 4gp, etc. Alternatively, if you price per "refill" but show sips, then you have a unique exception to the user-interface that's still going to cause confusion. Anyone who can think of a suitable solution that takes both of these things into consideration is free to message me or idea it.

Hmm. Good point about the pricing, I honestly hadn't thought of that... I can't really think of a good solution either that wouldn't clutter the WARES (showing "100gp per 50" would work, but would clutter).

Could you just make the keg itself show "100 refills (5000 sips)". Might not be the most convenient way of showing it to people who want to see, but it keeps wares uncluttered while still presenting the information.

Y'know what would be awesome for curio collectors? Curio templates! In essence, they would work in the exact same way that partially assembled curios already work, except they wouldn't actually need to have any pieces attached. Pieces could then be attached to that template and the curio would be completed just as it is now.

I would personally prefer that this is something that can be created from any curio piece (CURIO TEMPLATE ) as opposed to being purchasable from somewhere.

Oh! And when probing a partial curio, perhaps also include "Owned" in addition to "Needed" and "Complete"?

Can the clan privilege LOG also allow a person when given that priv to write on a clan's logs?

I think that's covered in RECORDER, no? You would not want to marry it into the LOG permission, not everyone who reads should be able to write.

Curio idea: Can we have it so when you touch together two partially formed curios, they join, bringing together all curios from those two partials, and destroying any doubles?

Would allow someone to sell a partial curio for something at least!

How about being able to set an entry fee to a manse? Would allow you to set up a museum where people can enter and look around, for instance. If a fee is added to an aethershop, though, it probably shouldn't show up on PORTAL SEARCH SHOPS.

Memory crystals. Just small ones! Perhaps crafted by a jeweler or common artist, and later enchanted (another slightly useful thing for tinkers, maybe! It's not inherently that tinkery, but still!). Could have various 'levels' requiring increasing number of charges. Maybe one minute, three minutes, and five minutes? Could be used for recording meetings, friendly chats, short musical performances, et cetera. And maaaybe even allow them to be annexed into bookshelves/libraries?

Make the race hats work properly.

If the goal is to be able to hide your race, a hat not showing "shadowlord faeling" gives away you are wearing a hat.

The hats are very unusable if they will not truly hide your race. :/

It didn't come back as "not a bug", it came back as "we think you're mistaken." I tested with a race hat and it changed my race to shadowlord faeling just fine.

Now if only I had been told this instead of 'no, you can't pay to have a hat made to turn you into a Shadowlord Faeling'. Thanks!

Well Xenthos is happy :)

Admittedly I saw the "Your bug has been reviewed" and stopped reading, I have seen enough of the traditional not a bug stuff to draw conclusions after 5 words. I should have known not to question the Iosai.

Sorry Io! D:

If you speak to someone who's no longer in the room, can something like "you cough and mutter something to yourself" happen instead?

If there is a strict rp going around, and suddenly something like "to bob and the merian said that" pops up, it would be great if we are told bob isn't in the room without breaking the rp.

The trouble is that there are legitimate sentence that begin with "to". "To gather pixies, you must first ask for a leaf from Miakoda." But there's no reason why there can't be a person named Gather. (Seems odd, but ask Near just how odd.) Or someone named Gathern, which would also be targettable with this. So this would make it impossible to say that sentence at all.

What we really should have is a SAYTO verb instead of SAY TO, and if the person isn't there, nothing visible happens in the room, you just get an error message.
Ssaliss2012-03-09 13:40:05
You would, I believe, be able to get around the above by using an apostrophe instead, like 'To gather pixies, yadayada. But yes, it would limit says a fair bit, and another SAYTO command would probably make much more sense.

Sorry, you were just the most recent example that leaped to mind!
