Would it be possible to have the Lusted People list (FLING LUST AT GROUND) appear in a column layout, much like how a persons 'enemied to' list appears in STAT. Also it would be good if it filtered out dormant people. :)

I have code for this. Holler at me on clan.

With the artifact that lets you hide your honors, can it be tweaked a little bit to show underneath the intended message if that person is an enemy to your guild/city/order as well?
For example:
Bob
Blah blah blah
------------------
He is an enemy to your city
He is an enemy to your order
Unless the artifact was supposed to hide whether he or she is your city's enemy as well, it would help with distinguishing people.

Which it doesn't, it just makes it more annoying to find out. Definitely think that enemying status should not be made harder to find by that scroll. But I wonder if the people who have the scroll will feel differently.

Aand, I'm going to sit here and wait for the "You can use the city priv to get around it." argument.
Ssaliss2012-03-21 16:36:17
I think Lendren just used it, actually :P
Lendren2012-03-21 18:24:30
Just to pre-emptively shoot it down!
Malarious2012-03-21 19:55:09
Having a way around it does not mean it should not be readily available.
What if you cant see order enemies?
What if you cannot check guild enemies?
You did not buy a scroll to hide "enemied to" lines, I can guarantee it. So I do not think those that own one will be adverse to such. Especially since the scrolls are used in OOC fashions anyway as most of them do not make sense. If anything we could argue the scrolls break immersion and need admin review to approve the message O_O

It breaks immersion? Only if we have an explanation of how honours work in character. As of right now, the best explanation I can think of it that it looks you up on some mystic wikipedia, and the scroll simply allows you to vandalize your own entry.
Besides, I've never seen a scroll message that I felt was really immersion breaking.

Of course I did.I bought it to hide everything.

Yeah, tried that, was summarily ignored. Or to put it all in the common parlance, REQUEST DENIED.

Ixion's is pretty bad.

Only if honours is explained in an in character fashion. I like Ixion's anyway: you try to psychically search for his history and you encounter giant red psychic letters saying "Access Denied".

There, someone made the argument, five posts too late, but at least now it's done. There's no viewpoint you can't find someone to take.

Huh?
Scrolls are just about as readily available as (org)enemies (person), in fact, the latter is even cheaper to do.

While I do think the scrolls are on the obnoxious side.
Its not that bad to alias the honours command to do "honours %1;communeenemies %1;guildenemies %1;orderenemies %1" or whatever the appropriate syntax for your client is

I got my scroll for two reasons. One is because the thought of a pretty honours message appealed to me, the other is to hide my enemy lines to make it easier for me to go unnoticed by unallied lowbies (on cursory examination, I can occasionally pass myself off as oh look, another Stormcrow - assume Glomdoring!) during revolts. I always assumed the really OOC ones could be issued and rolepoints docked for extreme violations :S
I personally think most of the current scroll-owners have very well-written and non-immersion-breaking custom honour lines, and quite enjoy reading them when I get the chance.

I too got mine for purely roleplaying reasons, none of which have any combat application whatsoever
Sakr2012-03-22 11:05:37
a shop idea. Would it be possible to look at WARES BIN 0-15 for a quick look at the bin's contents? Also, if possible, can we have a command for shop owners like SHOP SWITCH BIN 1 TO 5 to move bins around?
