Ah, gotcha. Yeah, that makes more sense then.

The "snook" emote should give an appropriate pose!

Not sure how possible it would be. But add a second value on changeself
WEAVE CHANGESELF , to let you weave in a temporary description of that race that would get removed upon dispell.
WEAVE CHANGESELF

A pair of new variables on VENGEANCE SETUP:
VENGEANCE SET START - toggles whether the game starts with the day (lynching) phase or the night (action) phase.
VENGEANCE SET SHOWROLES - toggles whether the "The following roles remain:" listing is visible to living players.
VENGEANCE SET START
VENGEANCE SET SHOWROLES

It's really easy to code an alias for this. That's what I did.

Depending on your client, you can even make it so that it doesn't echo back that long DESCRIBE ME long with a fair amount of ease.

Some way to ensure that quest/location related things are targetted first? For instance, in multiple quest lines there'll be a book on the ground or on a wall that I have to interact with, yet as a bookbinder it'll always target my magictome first (whose bright idea was it to make it targetable by both book and tome, anyway?), so I have to put it away first. Tedious.
Unknown2012-05-24 18:37:40
I don't really see that one happening. Seems to me that targeting your inventory before items in the room is generally what you want, and you can't easily change it to work for quest items versus other items. Overall, items are pretty good about using unique names, but some of them (book, crystal, cube, etc) just have to be put away or targeted by ID to work for the quest.
Xenthos2012-05-24 22:15:46
Why not a special command, "truepoke" (or something of that nature) that can't target anything in your inventory (so you can use that to find quest objects in a room, but you look foolish continually shoving your finger in your eye whenever you use it on something that is not an object).
Ssaliss2012-05-25 03:32:56
Or just limit the manipulation verbs to room-first, i.e. turn, pull, push, etc.

In an effort to make combat a little (a lot) less spammy, can we have CLOT ?

it would have to not work when you're in aeon/sap/etc. though because otherwise it has a combat balance impact.

It's also insanely easy to gag client side.

True, and ordinarily that's what I do but in some cases I can't target the number because I can't find it due to it being a hidden item. Meh.

Yeah, I'd be fine with only one clot going through under aeon/sap. I'd just love to not spam out my computer anymore when fighting certain classes. I'm sure it'll do wonders for game-wide lag too during these things.

Give tailors the ability to make wigs, if solely to make all of the emotes dealing with hair make sense for those who don't have it.
Raeri2012-06-03 03:43:40
Allow emotionlist to be filtered by Org, Race, etc access. i.e. EMOTIONLIST ORG to only show the special org-linked emotes :(

Let Lesser Houses disown family members. I do not understand why this is not allowed.

Could timestamps similar to those in messages be added to the various TELLS logs? As useful as having them is, knowing how long ago something was said would be helpful. Relatedly, could there be a GTSTELLS?
Bumping this, still terribly hopeful of it being implemented .

Let beast balance appear on the prompt.
