Ardmore:
Just because it has the word Master in it doesn't mean that's where it should be. :/ It's a good skill and deserves to be where it is.
It was just a suggestion/idea, and as I stated, it had more to do with my OCD than anything else. Though I don't think that it's at a place where having it at the Master skill rank would make Jewelry "OP" or somehow extremely unfair. Again, it was only a suggestion/idea.

It could always be changed in name to 'ExpertCutting', without much trouble!

This would make me shut up about it instantly. As I said, it's only an OCD issue I'm having.

Hello!
Can there please be a clan switch to turn probation on for all newly inducted members, or having probation set on a position (not the ability to put people on probation, but actually be on probation), instead of setting it one by one?
Something like:
CLAN SET PROBATION ALL|NONE
If Probation is set to ALL, all new members inducted into the clan will be placed on Probation by default. If Probation is set to NONE, Probation needs to be set on an individual basis.

Have Ironbeard visit characters logged in on their birthdays.
Ssaliss2012-08-13 15:29:30
They already give out birthday presents! Or so I've heard...

You get a package with coins.
Daraius2012-08-13 16:32:58
Ooh really? Was it a limited time thing or does it happen every game year?

I posted this in the curio thread, but due to the pages of spam, figured I would put it here so it won't get immediately lost in the wave of posts.
Can we please get a command put in to disable the room messages on given curios, it'll get spammy to have messages from several curios.
To clarify let us "TURN" (or whatever syntax) and that'll keep that particular curio from making room messages until its turned again (or whatever the synxtax ends up as). This should be relatively easy to put into the curio code too, just a variable and conditional if!
This would be a nice addition to both magic item, magic resistance, and all the other held curios that give a room message.

The magic item ones, at the very least, already do. I don't know about the new ones, since I can't get any just yet.
The syntax is TOUCH
Unless you mean a way to ignore other people's curios? Because that would be handy, too.
The syntax is TOUCH
touch bear
You reach out and touch a cuddly, brown-furred teddy bear.
A cuddly, brown-furred teddy bear will no longer periodically activate upon your person.

Oh, I didn't realize you could already do that, I guess my idea was so great its already in :D
Being able to ignore others would be nice, but I doubt at all possible to code.

Gold sink idea:
Be able to trade in one curio for another, paying around 500k gold for the exchange.
Or, heck, even a million gold.
That'd let people get at some of the older curios they really want, while keeping a huge priority on trading. Especially as you'd still have to trade for sets to complete and trade.

Or parts...say you could buy old pieces for sale, but only of the older sets. Trader bob sets up a used curio bits emporium, and sells like, deathwatch beetle bits today, and magic rose curios the next week, for huge gold mark ups...so people can make a set, or just buy the ones they need, for a lot of gold. (not the newest sets though, Trade Bob likes to pretend he's doing it for the antiques)

Simple, yet effective:
Dynamite!
Costs a token sum of gold, but when you use THROW DYNAMITE AT DOOR it works similar to doorblast or a battering ram, opening most doors (obviously not reinforced doors). The dynamite could also have a chance of causing damage to the thrower due to the imprecise art of crafting the sticks.
Mainly suggesting this one because I have seen a few situations where people have needed to get into an area of a city that for some unknown reason is locked and no city officials or mancers are awake, thus making it almost impossible to get into.

Not a bad idea Kagato but really Lusternia should just go the extra mile and create a skillset called engineering that consists of nothing but goldsinks. Make it so that you have to do a quest to learn it as most players would have no use for such a skillset. Then people can make expendible bombs and drones to drop the bombs and mines so on...
Aldani2012-08-14 19:20:28
Can we get another feature for the already vastly improved curios listing, whereby we can search by type (magic item, damage resist, animated, etc.)?

Kialkarkea polishes a worn hyperspeed accelerator proudly and prepares to grind through a whole 'nother engineering skillset with a sigh.
(Please don't put engineering in, I'll be forced to pick it up. I can't help it. I do it in every video game that has the option.)

Can the CURIO POWERS listing show which curios have the ambients activated, please?
