Have COMBATRING STATUS also show the months left on the figurines.

It'd be nice if there was a command for dampening the elemental weapon runes when you want to, and reactivate them whenever.
Neos2012-09-04 07:41:30
Let Protectors look over mob logs, e,g: Waterlords. It sucks that only guild leaders can check it.
Ssaliss2012-09-04 09:04:44
Can we please, please, please make the Nexus rooms immune to wind? I don't care about the rest of the city, but that's the place where you generally help novices and people come to ask questions, and the wind keeps messing things up :(

I know this has probably been said before, but I think it would really help the situation. Alot of city/commune shops have taken a huge hit to profits due to the ease and convenience of aethershops and how easy it is to search through them for what you need, rather than walking around your various communes/cities going from shop to shop to find what you need. Thus I propose again...
Introduce a way, probably at a commodties shop, the way to COMMUNE/CITY SEARCH SHOPS- . This would list items sold throughout the shops and their location much like PORTAL SEARCH does.

Considering commune/city shops are auctioned off starting around 150,000 gold and aethershops sell for 1000 credits, it's not too surprising there is still this disparity.
Ssaliss2012-09-05 18:45:14
To be technical, aethershops sell at 750cr now. And yes, that cost is likely a big reason cities/communes don't have that. And besides, I doubt it'd help much; you still wouldn't get the benefit of having the shop one step away. You'd still have to hunt down where in the city/commune it is.
Unknown2012-09-05 22:12:41
I keep forgetting the price went down with the stock limit change. Thanks.
Rivius2012-09-05 23:36:11
So heartpierce is really cool. I was wondering if we could have a special deathsight message for it?

Not sure what the auction price really has to do with sales profits.

Could always put the vnum into the search so that you can PATHFIND straight to the shop.

I think it had more to do with the cost, not profits. A manse shop costs 750 credits. If an org shop sells for 1.5m (which is a fair bit more than they usually do), they'd only cost 150 credits at 10k per credit. With that in mind, having manse shops get a benefit over org-shops seems only fair.

Currently, the inventory search order on enchanted curios is by place in inventory as seen in II. This means if you have an unworn enchanted ring and an enchanted curio in your inventory and you do RUB it'll target the ring and produce a "You need to wear that first" message. Please change this so that it intelligently realizes you want to rub the curio instead?

Two things!
1) GTSTELLS please! I'm going to keep saying this one til one day it magically works. :P
2) (fun-hating edition) Please make it so only one curio ambient can be active at a time. Please? MAYBE two. But it really cannot remain unlimited as it is now. Have you seen the spam? Do not want.

I agree with Phoebus on both counts.
1) Yesss, why does this not exist already?
2) Gosh, ambient messages are obnoxious. I'm so glad there aren't demigod/vernal ambiance or we'd be spammed even harder.
EDIT: Or a config that 'turns off' the curio ambients for you only. You still see the actions of old curios when activated, but not the passive ambient new sort.

I should activate & reset all of mine to tick at the same time.
Bet it'd get fixed pretty fast then. :D

1) My fall-back reason here is that you are using a secret channel. Secret channels shouldn't be logged. Having said there, I also know there was a mechanical reason for me not adding them.
2) I shall bring it up. For technical reasons, a curio config option is not particularly viable.

I'm still a fan of making curios a timer every 15 minutes, it picks the next one you have activated and displays that one. Next tick, it cycles onwards, until it's made the rotation and returns back to the beginning.
No more spam, encourages people to only activate the ones they really like (or go a long time without seeing them).
Iosai2012-09-06 22:34:30
That would be great, but unfortunately it's not really possible to do that with curios because of how they work.
