For your consideration...
  • Let empaths see which people are locked into modules in GRID MODULES.
  • Extend the DINGBATS TRANSFER command to allow CREDITS instead of GOLD as the last parameter.
  • PORTAL ENTER
  • PORTAL SEARCH SHOPS should show (or have an option to show) the items and their prices like WARES.
  • Infused food items should show with their infusion, the same way enchanted jewelry shows with their enchantments, in WARES.
  • More shop bins.
  • All the things you have to be at full health/mana/ego to do (like enter editors and go backstage) should allow a 2% slack factor.
  • If you can EXHIBIT a painting, and it's not enchanted, you should be able to take it down, too.
  • Allow those who can appoint ministers to also CITY/COMMUNE OUST them.
  • Make enchanting cubes twice as fast.
  • Provide a method to combine almost-drained palettes.
  • A means of searching news posts.
  • Marrying people should have a delay (so they can avoid it by leaving) or an AGREE step.

Didn't include it not because I wouldn't love to see it, but because it's probably a fair chunk more work to code than the other things there. (Unless you just wanted them to be containers and we made ON a synonym for IN, which is a clunky way to do it but would probably be very easy to do. If that's what people mean by this, then yeah, it should be on the list.)

Can pets, and beasts, be made to be ORDER-able by those they follow, instead of solely by their owner? It's a bit odd that Jeanne only wants to heal me, but she admantly refuses to heal Renny, who keeps giving her delicious, moist, wonderful, tasty pancakes.

While I agree that it might sometimes be nice to heal others with your beast, if it gets implemented, it should be you doing the ordering and not the person the beast is following. People who want to be healed by a beast can get their own beasts. tongue.gif

It is mostly for pets. It doesn't make any RP sense for Jeanne to be unable to help Renny. And I don't think you can trade pets with trade in beastmastery anyway, and even if you could, it's not something you want, due to want of feeling safe. By allowing the one who the pet is following to command it, you'd even be able to send the two of them off. If I'm somewhere hunting that I can't bring Jeanne along, while Renny hunts somewhere where Jeanne can tag along, obviously it'd be best to have Renny benefit from Jeanne following him around.

RP sense or no, it's mechanically a bad idea. Your case may be atypical, but it is something that could be abused. Some artifacts can be loaned out and used by others, some can't. Pets are fun, but limited in this way.

Abused how? It's simple for beasts, because as long as both parts have Trader in Beastmastery, it's easy to loan out beasts. Yet Pets, being infinitely more expensive, can't be loaned out?

Random idea! How about trademaster passport arties that let trademasters get access to organizational cartels with the approval of the Ambassador?! No, they can't contest, but I wanna be able to snoop into the other dandy cartels too. sad.gif
