Here's an idea... achievements for reaching certain numbers of resolved bugs or typos. An incentive to document every little mess-up you stumble upon. Everybody wins.
And make it retroactive!

Do you seriously act as TM for 9 cartels?
Yarr.
My batch of personal cartels + commune cooking + guild cooking. Could probably get a 10th, but I'm wary about TM'ing for a guild that's not mine.
Oh, and to keep from derailing...uhhh...oh, can we get that CARTEL CATALOGUE thing but for public designs?

Yespls. I'd also like something where you could allow someone to view your designs in private cartels without being part of it. Like a temporary pass, with permissions granularity so you could say, CLAN PASS
This is probably too, umm, overboard. People will just say put it into books, which I suppose is the better solution rp-wise. I'd like to imagine this system, and when they get a pass, a harried scribe runs up, handing them a pass, and when they view the cartel designs, it sends a scribe running in wielding a large tome, ready to show you any page you wish to look at.

Psh, grossness@putting designs in books. -sticks them all on his own cataloguing wiki-
<--still would settle for cheaper submission fees for more TM-ships and/or that public catalogue thing.

Why would being TM for multiple clans result in cheaper fees? Seems like, almost the opposite of what you would expect. To me anyway.
Xiel2010-02-06 02:59:28
Cheaper fees for the glory of more designs, darn you.

If you have the Exhibit skill in Arts, and a painting isn't enchanted, you should be able to take it back down, too. If the concern is theft, at least make it possible in places where you would have rights to deconstruct furniture according to HELP DECONSTRUCT (or just make it take a while).
The way it is, it makes me afraid to exhibit a painting knowing if I change my mind I have no recourse other than destroying it, and that in turn makes art unnecessarily feeble.

I wouldn't mind this, although you can get around it by using the standard 'make a custom painting' thing with an aethermanse - just copy out the painting and remake it before you destroy it.

You know how you can't go into the editor to update projects and orghelps unless you're at full health, mana, and ego? How about if we make it so you have to be within 2% of full instead -- give us just a little slop? It's highly annoying to have to drop things like Performance to do a little minor paperwork, because the timing of the mana drain ticks versus regen ticks makes it so annoyingly hard to get your command in on the instant in between ticks -- even if you meditate first. And since the whole point of this is to prevent using it to get out of combat, a 2% fudge factor (or even a 5% fudge factor) would not stop it doing that.
THIS. I know genderbend is not used very often, but some of us DO use it for the amusement or roleplay value (lololol?) of the ability, but when you're in a leadership position and have to constantly edit files or write letters or even designs as a TM, the five power per each time is annoying. Though really, why on earth does it take five power to genderbend? It's not like it has any real benefit- it baffles me why one of the few 'roleplay only' skills has a power cost, and a relatively high one at that.

You're using power to conjure vegetables to explain away your parts

This is where Notepad comes in handy. You can put more consideration into a post and get it down correctly before throwing it on the news board.
