Because the game should be more homogeneous, of course. What we hate most is diversity.

Some way to have a cartel have more than one trade to it.

No, the already-powerful Faeling monk speed.

It would be interesting to make a monk-spec that actually _decreased_ the power of Faeling monks. If nothing else than to hear the screams of them all

An artisan ability that allows you to repair watches. Doesn't stand the chance of breaking it, but costs 20k each go.
Because some of us want to do something very RPish and be able to pass watches down to children and grandchildren

You could always customize it to be non-decay.

But then it'd reset to you instead of staying with the child/grandchild

You can make it permanent without making it resetting, if I remember correctly. It's the other way around that doesn't work.

Pretty sure you can make something non-decay without it resetting.

AIDES would be so much more useful if it showed who was online, too.
Even better if it also showed the Minister himself/herself on that list.

Empowering guards should make them cost more power to upkeep.

Can we have a way to bid with unbound credits, or have unbound in our credits able to bid with? I would not like to have to bind my unbound ones to bid (and if I lose, it would be a bit of a waste)
Lendren2010-07-17 12:14:42
When a godrealm denizen is empowered or killed, this produces something on the powerlog, but when someone uses some other type of influence, thus preventing empowerment and ensuring the denizens can't be kept safe, there's no way to tell who it was since it doesn't show on any log. Any chance we can get this put onto the order log?

Trill should get a racial spec for Tracking, since it was the Trill who taught it to the Basin in the first place, sort of like Dwarves got Brewmeister.

This! I have a few credits and might like to bid on something, but if I'm outbid, well, there goes my ability to sell them to enlarge my manse.
Sylphas2010-07-17 14:57:20
I always thought you could bid with them, but if you won, you had to bind them and get rid of them. Do escrows count unbound? If I can bid with my arties without having to trade them in first, you should be able to bid without binding first.

I'd guess the biggest problem with that is that unbound credits are, well, unbound. They can be traded back and forth. Artifacts trade into bound credits, so you can't really get rid of that value (aside from turning artifacts in and buying another for the credits you got).
That being said... yeah, bidding with unbound credits should be allowed. But at the same time I can see why not.
Lendren2010-07-17 21:00:50
I agree on the bidding with unbound credits. Particularly relevant to me now that I have two characters. So having to bind too many of them to one for that one's bid means, if I lose, or win with much less than my maximum bid, I'm stuck unable to move them to the other if I want to. (It's too late for me, though. Unless Estarra takes pity and unbinds them.)
Xiel2010-07-19 07:27:53
Any chance that we can get that artifact chisel that was offered an auction or three back to be released as a regular artifact now? I know I don't enchant statues, but faster destroying would be dandy.
Would be even awesomer if they made the faster destroying apply to paintings too!

Let the boost that Storytelling gives denizens increase the experience they give by however much the increase in ego strength would be worth.
It'd give folks a reason to use Storytelling and it'd be kind of comparable to folks who hunt getting various crits. Crits let hunters get more experience because they can bash faster, well, this would let Influencers get more experience, even though it wouldn't be faster.
