I actually wondered if it wouldn't be a "banned" quest for those two. I mean, how dare you help those blood traitors. They work with stupid dracnari/square lucidian. How utterly abhorrent. It is a sin against nature and all that. In the event itself, the Mesa went completely bonkers over Dracnari and Lucidian working together.

I always thought of working an RP angle where the Nekotai could propagate a peace between dracnari and lucidians by accepting Grandmother Scorpion and the works of Lady Tzaraziko. In fact, I remember entering Hallifax early on to preach about the importance of the Old Ones to whoever was standing around. I was received with a bunch of shrugged shoulders.

Seriously though, don't let the past get in the way of progress. Teaching Hallifax and Gaudiguch about the demise of two ancient cities holds very little relevance in their contemporary histories. If anything, continued bickering about Lady Tzaraziko is a still as good a reason the two should be divided as any. In fact, this should be more of a reason to shun Grandmother Scorpion (as should Celest... if they really knew their histories).

Those journals have information about old cultural references, which are rather interesting in themselves. It's not so much the demise, it's the hints at things. Anyways, why should the cities care about a bunch of outcasts? Let them do what they want, but so long as they have information that either city wants, they're fair game to be explored and looked into.

Not to mention the Illuminati devour secrets and old writings and knowledge like a crackwhore devours KFC.

Or that the Illuminati and Templar are older than Gaudiguch itself, but whatever.

I'm grumpy, and I should stop talking, but I think saying BANBANBAN because Lucidian and Dracnari outcasts get along is wrong, especially with two organizations that actively seek knowledge, though what they seek is often different.

Please, please make it so people can't place items in the plex.. Because this

Pulsating with an inner glow, a powerstone lies on the ground. Shimmering with aetheric energy, a bright glowing portal floats here in midair. A seashell bra has been abandoned here. A figurine of a mountain rockeater stands here, memorializing his noble spirit. Thick black stripes slash across this red dress here. Curled up in a ball, Milla the Peppermint Kitten rests here.

Is just stupid.
Everiine2010-08-26 18:13:13
That's it? That's nothing.
Kiradawea2010-08-26 18:17:23
Well, obviously I disagree. IG Kira is very fond of Grandma Scorpion. However, there are very few Gaudi&Halli centric quests. Many are Celest&Mag themed, with a taint&light split and that's... a bit unfortunate, but it'll probably be changed soon enough.

When reading sorcelglass scroll at vials, could it please read to the next available scroll? Reading to a large number of vials is annoying since you have to do it all by number and unless you have a trigger to capture it all or potionlist (which isn't that much better) it's very spammy and annoying to constantly check for the vial numbers.

(Sneaking this under the the label of 'Simple'.)

1. Cartels should be able to affiliate themselves with an organization.
2. Culture points should be awarded for whichever organization submits the most new designs every year (could count only private/public as necessary).
3. Perhaps extra points could be awarded for the best new design of the year.

Ohhhh yea.
Lendren2010-08-29 17:40:44
Just what Lusternia would really need, twenty more variations on the same ring to game out culture points. No, no, and also, no.
Unknown2010-08-29 18:39:50
Except. What stops a person from rewriting a book or play with two words changed?

For the books, they go through a divine review process -- but note that there will be nothing else that goes through a divine review process like that, which is why plays don't.

For plays, it's because sheer volume of pointless plays produced has only a small effect on score. The only way to game the system involves a lot of people spending a lot of time on it, and if you can get ten people to spend an hour watching the same play but with one word changed, you could get them to just watch the first play over and over, which would have almost exactly the same effect. (One could argue that "getting ten people to watch a play over and over" isn't quite gaming the system anyway, since you're still getting people to spend time at culture stuff. It's a fine line, but it's the best we're going to get.)

The publishing system, and the fact that plagiarism is one of the things that can get you perma-shrubbed?

Can we get Clan/City/Guild help scrolls added to the website searches?

Ah, very well.

What if you remove the affiliation bit. Then only the designs for the actual organization cartels would count.

Can we please be able to add in a new group to price policies for novices, please? I'd like to be able to price things in a shop that'd be discounted for novices alone rather than everyone who is looking for really cheap refills. I know there's already a screening mechanism in place that boots people out from Newton if they're over 21, so there'd be precedent, but I'd really adore it if we could get that same option for price policies. pray.gif

You can sort of... you just have to set it to whatever the name of the city college thingy is. So in Celest it would ACADEMY, however, it applies to all members of the academy (professors and what not)

How interesting... suspicious.gif Yay.
Unknown2010-09-02 02:35:22
However most novices complete their college long before they're finished with their novicehood.
Xavius2010-09-02 20:31:49
I think if you listed all of the guilds, except not rank 1 of those guilds, you'd get all novices.
